Flickr Gives 1 Terabyte Free Storage to all

Flickr gives 1 Terabyte for free to all members, this is a good news for picture lover since they could be able to place their picture online for free. For me, I still opt to stay as a pro member, since I don’t want ads to appear to my picture and I want to see the stats of my pictures.

Here is the difference of the free accounts and the Ad Free account.
Flickr_Email_0519_Final_05
Free:

  • 1 Terabyte of photo and video storage
  • Upload photos of up to 200MB per photo
  • Upload 1080p HD videos of up to 1GB each
  • Video playback of up to 3 minutes each
  • Upload and download in full original quality

Ad Free:

  • $49.99 per year
  • All the benefits of a free account
  • No ads in your browsing experience

Anyway I still have until August to change to a free account. Since May 20, 2013, Pro accounts can no longer be purchased. Users can enjoy unlimited storage as long as their Pro account is active. If the Pro account expires, it will revert to a free account with a storage limit of 1 Terabyte.
