Finally Bye Bye Chitika Premium Ads [Restored]

Updates : We are again using Chitika since this site has been approved as a gold publisher..!!!

After writing about the drastic drop of chitika earning I have decided to totally remove their ads today. They have actually put my blogs into further review which means that they don’t want my blogs to feature their Ads.

I just don’t know if they will pay my last month earnings. Anyway there are still lots of alternative to premium chitika.  I suspect that the merge of YPN ( Yahoo Publisher Network ) and Premium Chitika , has something to do with this massive chitika publishers ban of account.

As long as Google Adsense keeps of giving cash to my account. I don’t think there will be a problem. :)

I have seen some tweets about chitika Banned accounts and I think there are lots of Pinoy bloggers being included in the banned accounts. So Are you one ? What do you think we did to be included in the banned accounts ? Is it because of keyword optimization ? I just don’t know.

    For past 5 days, my Chitika drastically drop from thousands impression to less than 10. I am really shock. I am using my chitika earnings for webhosting and domain renewals. Very sad, imagine from thousand impressions plummets to less than ten impressions per day.

    I think it has something to do with having your websites reviewed first before showing ads?

    @Paolo,

    It might be. I also suspect that it is soemething to do with keywords optimization

    Currently, only one blog of mine is approved, the others are pending review. Truly sad news as I’ve been doing really well with them.

    In any case, I’m keeping it for now because the approved one is fortunately, the blog with my highest traffic.

    For the others, in the worst case that it gets disapproved, I will just replace them with maybe Adbrite…

    or do you have any ad network suggestion which we can use as replacement (except Adsense of course).

    On November 27th I went from 10s thousands impressions to hundred+. Now all my websites, except one, are in pending review status. I don’t think it is related to keyword optimization. All my websites are free classifieds targeting different cities. One left approved, while others (more than a 50) are now pending.
    I think there is some mess going there and I think they (Chitika) don’t know what exactly is going on and just cannot control the situation. The reports are usually late in a daily basis for almost a month. Sometimes admin part of the website not available. Approval takes months.
    And no communication about what is going on, even thought we all see that something going on – this is not good sign. I think in a month we will have more details.

    It’s not just Pinoy publishers my friend, it’s everyone. I have been with them around 2 to 3 years and had 98% of my blogs cut-off in one day.
    And they also removed the social site “Shetoldme” from their approved list.

    @Sabre,

    That is not good for us publisher. Anyway at least adsense is still working in my blogs

    This sucks. First Google kicked me out for no reason now Chitika. I have been running Chitika for 2 to 3 years with no problems. There’s no other option except for Amazon.
