An Improved Blackberry Messenger named as BBM 6 Announced

RIM has announced their latest version of BlackBerry Messenger dubbed as BBM 6 . BBM 6 brings support for connected apps, enhancing integration between Blackberry Messenger and applications. BBM user will now be able to interact with friends with in other application. This includes FourSquare, Poynt, Pocket Ants, the Huffington Post, Jingu, Backgammon King and Telemap.

In FourSquare when users check in, they can share their locations with friends on BBM know and send them messages, as well as adding badges to their profile.

Other features of Blackberry Messenger 6 include:

• Enhanced Location Sending with customized search and sharing

• Send events and appointments to BBM contacts

• Draft BBM message support

• Updated support for sending links, podcasts, location in BBM Groups

You could download Blackberry Messenger 6 through Blackberry App World and connected apps will be posted on the Blackberry App World later this week.

nice! my BB version is still 4.5. I think it’s time to upgrade my BB na para pwede na ako mag BBM 6.0. Haha!
