15% Tax on all OFW Remittance
There is a NEWS that there will be 15% Remittance Tax for OFW on all Western Union remittances. but in reality upon checking it is only 0.15% Tax. But how this affect the bloggers. Some of bloggers in Philippines claim their Adsense earning thru Western Union. So if some of you are claiming Adsense Earning thru Western Union all your earning will be subjected to 0.15% Documentary Tax starting May 2008. This is also confirmed thru other sources of Lestat from Ofwlayf.

So it’s better now to have your adsense earnings sent through paypal than western union? I’m getting my first $100 soon (yay!) so i’d like to know.
I haven’t tried withdrawing from my paypal account yet but I plan to do so soon (hopefully by end of May), does paypal charge fees for local bank deposits of your funds?
Thanks in advance.

Ang pagkakaalam ko po, pag via local banks, may fee na 50 pesos.

EntrepreNars is right. Withdrawal thru Paypal sa adsense ay wala pa. I believe James of pinoymoney talk had an experience with that.. Siguro may fee..
