BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) For Android and iPhone Gets 10 million downloads in 24 hours!

Blackberry recently introduced that BBM messenger service for iPhone Users and Android users. Surprisingly, there are about 10,000,0000 people who have downloaded the service. I myself have tried to download the application in my LG G2 phone and it went smoothly. Now I can be contacted via PIN – 7655D1E3. BBM application is new to me, I have not used a BBM phone before. So what might be BBM’s advantage on crossing to Android and iOS users? It might be a way to introduce themselves to Android and iOS market.

There were even news that reviews at Google Play are bombarded with fake reviews and according to BBM they are already aware of it, see below official statement from BBM:

We have recently been made aware of a number of potentially fake five-star reviews of BBM for Android on Google Play. We do not approve of or condone such activities and are committed to working with Google to resolve this. There are also many genuinely great and useful reviews from our new BBM users on Google Play. We would like to encourage our passionate fans and users to continue to provide true assessments of the BBM experience through the proper channels.

As of this time, the application is not introducing any ads with it. I must confess that the interface is good compared to other online messenger that I am using. You can see updates and more.

What I am looking is the massive addition of contacts such as an interface with Facebook and Twitter but I know soon there will be a work around for this.

The version that I am using is 1.0.072, I just hope that they could add more updates on the interface.
