The Netphone is a smartphone that uses open source platform,Android, backed by Google. The Netphone runs at Android Froyo, version 2.2 of the most popular operating system for smartphones. Froyo also lets you turn your phone into a hotspot and supports Flash 10.1, which allows display of animation and video content on the web. This might not be as fast as gingerbread but I think its is just fare on it’s price.
Apps could also be downloaded from the Android Market. It was introduced by Smart Communication at Mobile World Congress 2011, last February 2011. So here is the full specifications of Smart Netphone.

The Netphone does not support any other future Android OS release. I have not yet tried the unit but perhaps Yugatech’s review of the unit will help you decide to get the phone or nt.
This might not be the ideal phone for tech savvy users, but I think this is suitable for budget conscious users. You may want to check the Smart Internet Settings.
