PRADA and LG Electronics has publicly announced yesterday, Nov. 24, 2011, the launching of PRADA Phone 3.0 in early 2012.
The partnership between the two different superior brands will be the production of the third generation smartphone phone which according Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics will offer a strong identity and most sophisticated style handset than the existing mobile on the market today.
The Prada and LG collaboration started in 2006 with the creation of PRADA phone by LG 1.0 and 2.0 which were launched the following year and 2008. LG Electronics claims that the first phone was the first in the world to apply full touchscreen interface before iPhone. To support to its claim as pioneer in design with superior style, PRADA phone by LG 1.0 earned its place as part of the permanent collection in New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Shanghai.
Expect that PRADA phone 3 will feature Android 2.3, a 4.3-inch display, and 21Mbps HSPA+ speeds in a 9mm thin frame. It’s only for now. Other specs of the phone are yet to be revealed in the future.
