Last year, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note 10.1 at the Mobile World Congress, together with the company’s Galaxy Beam projector phone. The next Mobile World Congress is set for February in Barcelona next year and it looks like Samsung Electronics has again set the event as the best opportunity to launch its Galaxy S4. The new phone is set to hit the shelves a month after. This announcement was made by the company’s officials barely three days after its competitor, Apple, launched its iPhone 5.

The new Samsung Galaxy S4 is being touted to feature a quad core Exynos based OS that promises to deliver an LTE connection in the US and in Europe. It will have a bigger screen size at 5â€, just slightly bigger than Galaxy S3’s 4.8†screen. The specifications of Samsung’s new phone have not been fully revealed but they are saying that its features will definitely be better than those of iPhone 5 which, although is selling at a record high, is sadly lacking in revolutionary features, this according to some reviews of the new device.
The new Galaxy S4 is said to be Samsung’s most powerful handset if we are to compare hardware specifications and software developments. It is also said to be using Google’s Android software will feature organic light emitting diode or OLED displays. It will retain its rounded-corner rectangular shape. Whatever its features, Samsung will definitely have something to show the world during the Mobile World Congress in 2013.
