Nokia Sets a New Standard with Nokia 808 PureView 41MP Camera

Nokia Sets a New Standard with 808 PureView 41MP CameraNokia just came out a big surprise with its latest offering of Nokia 808 Pureview at the MWC event. It is the Nokia N8’s successor. For obvious reason this phone is coming out a feature strong enough to attract a wider market both photographers and users who love to take pictures.

Nokia 808 PureView is Nokia’s newest flagship phone. It is strong enough in a sense that, it is packed with the unbelievable high-resolution of 41 megapixels camera with lens from Carl Zeiss.  It is capable to capture long distance shots while keeping image clarity. It also claims to have the oversampling method that could deliver better images through multiple shots procedure.

Loyal to Symbian Belle will be happy as well, for this phone will still carry the OS. We could say that some features are not so powerful compared to other smartphone in the market. A 1.3GHz single-core chipset processor, a 4-inch display with a Nokia-style resolution at 360 x 640 (nHD), a 512MB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

It’s clear that the selling factor here is the 41 megapixel sensor which according to Jo Harlow, executive vice president of Nokia Smart Devices, "Nokia PureView imaging technology sets a new industry standard by whatever measure you use".

This imaging flagship phone is expected to hit Europe with price of 450 Euros in the Q2 of this year.
