The world’s lightest phone, modu phone, which was recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records will be launched in the Philippines. Philippines is one of the first chosen countries where modu phone will be available, this was according to Globe.
Second-largest telecommunications firm Globe Telecom Inc. said it has sealed a partnership with modu Ltd. to offer the modu phone in the country through its exclusive local distributor, Lynk Communications.
"We are confident this leading-edge partnership will bring new value to a market that continues to grow in sophistication and discerning tastes," Globe President and Chief Executive Officer Ernest Cu said in a statement.
The weight of this modu phone is 1.5 ounces. It has a music player, a mass storage device and 2giga of internal memory. The looks of this phone can also be be changed with its interchangeable jackets or phone enclosures. It is founded by Dov Moran in 2007. He also invented the USB flash drive.

Interesting… i think the modu mobile phone will make a splash in the P.I. when released in the market, especially if it’s sold in reasonable price.
btw, is the mobile phone made in Israel or North Korea?
