Lots and lots of company is trying to put down the Macbook Air Market. We heard that there will be Adamo by Dell and Now Lenovo is trying to pull some market share to the thin notebook Market. This is in In addition to their new all-in-one desktop computer. Lenovo is launching off a new Y Series of midrange laptops. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 ( Possible Launching February ) has the following features :
- 16-inch screen
- JBL speakers
- an ambient light sensor to help auto adjust screen brightness based on the lighting conditions of wherever you happen to be using the laptop,
- a light weight of only 5.6 pounds thanks to a carbon fiber shell,
- priced at $1,119
- Intel Centrino 2 class CPUs
- Nvidia graphics
- optional Blu-ray drives.
Both the Y550 and the Y450 will be priced at $829. The Y550 features a 15.6-inch screen, weighs slightly more than it’s larger-screened cousin at six pounds, and the Y450 features a 14-inch screen. All three models come with widescreen displays with the same 1366 x 768 resolution, up to 500GB storage, up to 4GB memory, surround sound, multi-touch touchpads, facial recognition technology, and optional NVIDIA graphics.
So We will see lots of competition this year, Last year it was Netbook , and now it is a battle between Laptop Thickness.
