HP comes out with the new TouchSmart tm2 which is a 12.1 inch laptop powered by new Intel Core 2 Duo procs and discrete ATI Mobility Radeon graphics.
This HP TouchSmart tm2’s capacitive multitouch screen is finger and pen friendly. It has a unibutton touchpad and lovable aluminum build, and seems thinner, lighter and stronger than the tx2.
This laptop turns into a tablet.
The laptop is expected to be out on January 17th with a starting price of $949.
HP’s also improved the software aspect, pre-loading the new Netflix-inclusive version of its TouchSmart software and the wild, almost-useful BumpTop 3D desktop. Using the friendly version of Corel Paint and an interactive dolphin screensaver makes it more fun to use.
