Steve Jobs followers strongly opposed to the rumored production of 7-inch iPad tablet. They believed that 7 inch is not an ideal size of tablet as stated by Steve Jobs in the past. It seems that, what they were saying is true to Apple’s principle that they will not cave-in to the calling and rumors for the production of 7 inch tablet.
These rumors had circulated around in the past weeks. And now, here comes a source as reported from Digitimes. Apple is set to release its two versions of next-generation iPad 3 which according to their source, the launch is going to happen at the iWorld on January 26, 2012.
As initial offering, iPad 2 already started reducing orders to give way for the next iPad 3 early next year, and a plan to possible price drop to compete directly with Amazon’s Kindle Fire on some selected market segment according to the source.
The new iPad models will not feature 7.85 as rumored instead it will have 9.7-inch screens. It will come with Dual-LED bars to enhance the panel brightness and QXGA resolution (1,536×2,048 pixels). The new iPad models will cater to mid-range and high-end market segment according to the report.
This will be another exciting event for Apple fans to look forward to early this year. Let us hear your comments.
