According to report from Digitimes source, Apple will launch the new Macbook Air series notebook in early of 2012. An added excitement to series of units will be inclusion of the 15 inch Macbook Air together with 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch to maintain its competitive advantage against ultrabooks from various PC brand vendors in the market.
Rumors few months back announced the release of 15" Macbook Air but rejected before the formal release due to designs issue of hinge is too weak to support the screen. Surely the issue of hinge was already resolved as the pilot production has already started from the upstream supply chain sources. And the new models will likely be based on Intel’s forthcoming Ivy Bridge platform according to report from Mactrast.
Another indication with the introduction of new models is the price cut from different channel of retailers in the US and Europe to the existing MacBook Air prices, including online shopping sites such as MacMall and Best Buy prior to its production next year.
Expect an incredible thin and light notebook that is capable as twice from its previous releases which will attract customers who prefers smaller and bigger screen sizes.
Let’s wait and see if this new development will finally arrive on the target time.
