WordPres 2.8.2 Security Fix is Available

Just a quick post . Just days after WordPress 2.8.1 has been released , WordPress decided to release WordPress 2.8.2 and This is what is shown in their blog :

WordPress 2.8.2 fixes an XSS vulnerability. Comment author URLs were not fully sanitized when displayed in the admin. This could be exploited to redirect you away from the admin to another site. Download 2.8.2 or automatically upgrade from the Tools->Upgrade page of your blog’s admin.

So if you use WordPress 2.8.1 better upgrade it to WordPress 2.8.2.

hayz.. update time na naman.. plus update p ng mga plugin… minsan naiisip ko sana ng WordPress MU na lang ako… hahah para one time upgrade na lang lahat pati plugin.. etc.

@sir Dex,
heheheh katatapos ko nga lang magpost sa site ko ng WP 2.8.1 release tapos meron na palang 2.8.2… but the good news is, it’s so easy to update in WordPress via dashboard, just only takes a minute of your time.

May tanong po ako sir Dex, every time ba na magpalit ng theme o mag-update ng WP kailangan din i-update ‘yong .htaccess mo para sa permalink?

Ang alam ko ay wala namang issus doon sa .htaccess .. ang alam ko ay independent yun .. siguro kung mag karoon ng problema after update saka na lang i check yung /htaccess
