Tips on How to Apply for a Credit Card

I have been using Credit Card for almost 10 years now, and I would like to share you some tips on How to Apply for a Credit Card as follows :

  1. In applying for credit card , you should know the interest rates of the bank that you are applying.
  2. Better to get a low credit limit which is only suitable for you so that you will not be over spend when time comes that you love to swipe your card with out thinking first.
  3. Be sure to know the cut off date of your credit card so that you know how much you could spend in an specified time.
  4. Prepare you proof of billing address since most of the Credit Card company requires a prrof of billing address, it could be your phone bill, Internet bill, etc as long as your name and address is shown.
  5. You could also prepare your pay slip, or salary certificate.
  6. Prepare your id picture , most of the credit card company is asking for a picture for their file.
  7. Decide if you want to make it online or offline, most of the banks now are giving special give aways if you apply online.
  8. Check the internet for Credit Card Reviews.
  9. Be sure that you are prepared to have a debt and be prepared to be called by Credit Card Operator when you are not paying on time.
  10. Do Not get a Credit Card if you don’t need it.

Number 10 is the most important tip I could give you. believe me it is not easy to have a credit card, so if you think you cannot manage it, Better not to get it or you will have sleepless nigt. Just a warning.
