Well as you know I made an e-book regarding earning from current events { Password = “SEOMONEY” } , but sad to say that not all bloggers knows what will happen in the future, Is it right ? Well what If I will tell you that it is possible to know the future events so that you can be prepared in your SEO ( Search Engine Optimization )  tactics. I know  that lot’s of this blog reader are already well verse in Search Engine Optimization and since I am happy today after I found out that some of my keywords are already up in the SERP this Tip will really make your day.

If a blogger can get it into top of the SERP ( Search Engine Ranking Page ) for a certain event it will surely bring money from clicks thru Ads and not to mention the traffic it will bring to a site.

So How will you know the future events?

Well it is really easy. You just have to use the Google Search and just type keywords such as [ Future Sports Events Wikipedia ] from there you can see Category:Future Sporting Events , you can change the keyword to [ Future Events Wikipedia ] well actually we can make the variety of keywords just add Events & Wikipedia since Wikipedia has a large number of events both future , past and present so Wikipedia is the best place to go for research.

Wikipedia can tell you variety of events in the future so it is only up to you to grab it if you have time.

Then after checking the events you just have to check thru Google Trends on what events you need to optimized and which events gives lots of traffic based on their succeeding season. Then you have to use the Freekeywords from wordtracker.com to know the variety of keywords you may use to optimized your post. Well actually if you use SEO for Firefox Plugin you don’t have to go individually to Google Trends and Wordtracker because the mentioned Firefox Plugin has already links in the below portion of the search results.

Just to sum it all :

1. Search for the Events
2. Check for Traffic Opportunity
3. Check for Different Keywords { Don’t just concentrate in one keywords – Be Imaginative and be like a searcher }
4. Then Optimize the post using different tips you know.

I just hope this tip will help you to know on what event you may want to blog and get a ton of traffics. And as an additional tip those events have usually very little competition.

I try Googling this kind of problem but I was not that successful regarding this problem so I am writing about this to know some of your thoughts regarding this matter.

By the way I have send letter to Google today after removing all paid links in this site. Yup I will not do any Paid post links in this site from now on. And If there will be some Advertiser in the future that would like to Advertise on this site a no-follow link will be added. I hope this is clear. I want to retain the site traffic.

I am posting about this as a reference in the future, if in case Google will reconsider sending me visitors again.

Well on the other hand I was also amazed wit yahoo since visitors that it send me now double. For what ever reason well I don’t know.

Among the shown stats only the visitors coming from Google is really affecting the site’s traffic. I intentionally not put the numbers , I just want to show you the graph about this site.

Well nobody knows when will Google put back my traffic, all I know is I just complied with all their requirements. It is now up to them to do their part. My sitemap now has been crawled again and the stats shos that it was crawled 15 hrs ago. That only means it was crawled automatically after I send a reinclusion request.. Is it ? Wait for further development .. A nice start

Upon pressing the number of pages saying Link from the below pictures shows you the different site connected to that wrong URL.

And the below picture gives you an option to Download That table, Download All error for this site, Download all sources of error in this site.

All errors will only be seen if somebody tries to access that link. SO to be able to have a healthy site for your visitor you should always check your Google Webmaster Dashboard and look for any error that you might have.

Below are the scree capture of my Site thru Google Webmaster’s Tool

The above screen capture says that Google last indexed my site last Sept 4, well in fact I can see some of my post being indexed by Google by doing the following method. My site start not to rank well on SERP starting Sept 6 and the Indexing of my blog stops at Sept 4. So is there are any connection with those errors ? Need to investigate more.

So I just hope that Google will fix their indexing soon. Let me know if some of you are also experiencing those problem or it is just an isolated case for SEO Blog.

Does Anybody experienced this before. I will have to dig this issue since I know it will make problem in the future. I have already contacted Google for this matter.

I think this is a  result when my site was down for about 3 days before I transfer to Dream Host. Anyway I will keep you inform in the future on how will I fix this one. The below screen shot was taken in my Google Webmaster’s Tool , All errors shown came at the time when my site is down. Imagine 571 post is not found . So that only means Google Crawl my site while my database is still having some problem.

I just hope it can be fixed as soon as Google access my site again.

Well as per my experience, If you see that your keyword is already on the top, Stop build linking or optimization or else you will be in trouble in the D day. The will kick your post out and you will not know where it is. Although it will come for some time, But what if the Day when you want to top the SERP is finished . So better to be very careful. Well it is good that Yahoo is also telling NEWS about Google.

Well I have been invited to make a review for a site that has a PR7 rank. The review below shows how I see the site as a first time visitor and suggestion are made with an aim to help the webmaster on having a user friendly interface for the users and Visitors.

WebHostingGeeks.com is a site that has a very strong PR7 web site dedicated to providing real and unbiased customer reviews of major web hosting companies.

Below are my suggestion and Comments , Feel free to comment about it

1)  Search Box

The webmaster should provide a search box on the upper right hand of his site. If a user come at their site for the first time and is searching for a review of a hosting company, A user will have hard time to find it out.

The search box should also contain filters of the price range that a certain hosting company may have. I can say that they aim to provide real and unbiased customer reviews of major web hosting companies .

2) User Interface

I tried to enroll on their site and try submitting a web hosting reviews in Customer Hosting Reviews part of the website, at first I have a hard time in locating the submit button since it is located on the upper right corner which has a small font. People who would like to visit this site want also to give their opinion, So I believed that making the submit button embedded in image or a bigger font will make it easier for a submitter to make his comments.

3) User Review

It would also be great if in the review page , the person reviewing the hosting company can provide his URL, If a consumer has a positive or negative review on any web hosting company one should prove that they are really using the service and not just telling something bad about the service.

4) About Page

http://webhostinggeeks.com/ is a review site, it is therefore necessary to make an about page telling history of the site to give more confidence to the reader that this site has really a fair and an unbiased reviews.

5) Ads Placement

I would suggest to provide a Link Ads form from Google if they want to have an additional income and put it in between header and the body

6) Suggestion about Site SERP

I believed that their site has been optimized for Google SERP, I would also suggest to work on Yahoo SERP since their site is nowhere to be found in Yahoo with their chosen keywords.

7) Suggestion in Domain Site Protection

One way to protect your site brand is to get the other site extension that you have.I have seen that the .info, .org, .mobi, .biz, & .us extension are still available in the market, If I were the owner of the site I will rush to a domain registration company such as godaddy and take those other address and redirect it to his website. Just one way to protect one’ site.

I just found out that the excerpt is great SEO Tool, since this is what will appear if incase somebody search your blog archives. If you do not use this before in the post editor’s optional excerpt field, the first 55 words of the post’s content are used by WordPress that leads to a duplicate content in the blog not unless you disallow crawler to indexed your archives like what I do by changing the robots.txt

The optional Post excerpt could be found at the lower part of your WordPress Write Dashboard. Juts press the ” + ” sign and add your excerpt in the box. And if you are using Windows Live Writer it can be seen by pressing ” F2 ” .

So to avoid duplicate content for archives I would suggest to use these excerpt feature of WordPress. You can write a 2 sentence telling the brief description of your post. So after about 386 post in the archives it is only now that I will implement this in my future blog post.

WordPress Excerpt should be eye catching that will give your reader an idea of what you are talking about. So are you using Post excerpt before ? any additional Tips ?

What is Google Analytics ?

Google Analytics is a free web application that could be used to track your site performance. It can give information about the number of visit and the keywords that has been used for your site to be used. It can also tell you who among site linked to your is giving lots of referrals. Well in fact I have been using their service for about 1 year now, and until now I am still satisfied. If you want to dominate Google, You should be able to know how they are tracking your site. And therefore used an tracking system that is affiliated with it. It can also use to track your SEO Performance.

How can I activate Google Analytics for my site ?

The first thing to do is to have an account with gmail. And proceed with Google Analytics Site and add your site via Add your site profile. Just fill up the details about your site and after that , Google analytics will give you a script that needs to be paste on your site.

What information will Google Analytics give me ?

The most used information that Google Analytics gives is the number of visitors that visited your site. It is part as follows:

Dashboard – It will give a general information about your site, Like number of visits, Page views, Bounce Rate, Average time on site and other information in General.

Visitors – It will give you information on how your visitors reacts or moved at your site. It will give you information on how many pages did the visit and how much time did they spend on your site. What are the bounce rates and other information in which you need to know on how people reacts when they reach your site,

Traffic Sources – If you want to know where did your visitors came from, It might be from other site, Other search engine or direct traffic. This part of Google Analytics will be able to give you that information. It can also give the information regarding the keywords used to reach you site.

Content - It will give you a detailed information about the top content of your site. Where it is frequently visited. Including the keywords..

Goals – I still need to study this one. I have not yet experimented about this.

How Will it Help Me ?

If you know the post that has a highest visitors you would be able to make a follow up post or make a proper linking on that post. Since it has a potential to give you more money. Knowing the keywords that is used to visit your site, you can be able to make another post regarding that matter. For example , I know that this site is being search for some Excel and Microsoft Words Tips. that is why from time to time I am making some additional Tips that my reader would enjoy if they happen to pass by because of my post regarding Microsoft Word and Excel.

You can even crate more than one account, By doing this you be able to check the other site that you own. It can also be set to provide you a daily email in PDF format regarding your site performance for the day. The information provided by Google Analytics is really very important. This is what I am checking almost everyday to know if my site is doing well. And to know how to improve more.
