Jennifer Leggio has started a unique campaign to raise much needed money for Team in Training, the fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which funds medical research for blood cancer cures and provides patient and family support programs.

What is unique on her campaign was using the top Social Media Person in US and Canada to Talk as part of the fund raising, and this Social Media personnel are well know on their respective niche.

She aims to raise $10,000 in doing so.

I just wonder if this type of Fund Raising is possible to happen in Philippines for the good cause of in need. How I wish I can hear something like this happening soon in Philippines.

I also did this as my part of helping her campaign since half of my visitors do come from USA. BTW I saw this campaign via Google Alert.

Yes it is. You can just press the site you would like to visit and it will give you a brief description of that site.

How to access the site ?

The site is free to access and there is no password or user id needed. This is another plus factor to them.

Can I suggest A site which is not in their list

I am not so sure , Since I cannot see any site submission link at their site. I would be better to contact the Site Administrator. For sure there is a Contact details on their site.

Bill was talking to some bloggers about IE.Next and called it IE8, the same way we do here in the IE team hallway.

So, yes, the version after IE7 is IE8. We looked at a lot of options for the product name. Among the names we considered and ruled out:

IE 1000 (think binary)

Of course, some people care about other aspects of IE8 much more than they care about the name. As I’ve walked different people through the plan, I’ve gotten “Does it have feature X?” “When is the beta?” “When does it release” and even the more thoughtful “What are you trying to accomplish with this release?”

But still I love Fire fox and nothing can change that. As of the moment. Let see IE8
