My Philippines Vacations Starts in Just a Few Days

In just a few days from today, I will be back in Philippines for a short vacation. Actually it will just be an eight days vacation. I don’t know if I will have enough time to do different task that I need to do. Last Year I was able to visit Cebu , Laoag and Vigan . For sure we will visit Taal Batangas , were I will be able to see my relatives and eat Tapa and Longanisa from my hometown. I usually blog about my travel through my travel category. My Family and I are all excited to have our yearly vacation in Philippines.

Philiippines Here I Come

Today is my flight to Philippines, And I am excited to attend the iblog 5 on May 9, How I wish there are Food Tour during my vacation , since last year I was blessed enough to attend the Trinoma Food Tour with my wife. I have lots of plan during this vacation so as usual this blog will become a semi travel blog during the span of my vacation . You can expect to see pictures regarding Philippines , etc. I will include my post in my Philippine and Photography Category.

I believe that my post where I ask for Philippine Free Wi-Fi Hotspots , Philippine Free Wi-Fi Access will help me a lot on being online most of the time. Although I am thinking of having a 3G connection for my Asus Eee PC Netbook.

I will be staying In Cavite and Batangas.

So watch out for this blog’s semi transition during my vacation. And this is the beauty of Passive income even you are in vacation your blog can still earn. I have reported it before that my blogs earn during my vacation and I know it will happen again this month. Will it be 4 figures? I don’t know.

I might be late on responding to comments so please bear with me.

BTW I will surely meet Fitz during my vacation since I need to have my Certificate for being the winner Blog Professional Category given by Digital Filipino.

This will surely be a great vacation.

Blogging Accomplishment in Year 2008

Last January 1,2008 , I have set my blogging goals for the whole year. { My Blogging Goal for Year 2008, What is Yours ? } And now I would like to check and gauge myself on how I become a blogger for year 2008. Did I become an active blogger or a lazy blogger ? Hmm.. So this is my report for you guys. I have responded each and every point in my goals.

I will make more blogging friends that will share same interest with me.

I also made lots of blogging friends this year. Perhaps this is because I am fortunate to attend an offline blogging event last year { Iblog 4 } and Trinoma Food Tour during my Vacation

I will teach my wife how to blog

Yeah I accomplish this one.. Actually my wife is now blogging at Myjournal.ph

I will try to post at least 2 post a day ( Morning and Afternoon )

I fail to do this one.. Perhaps it’s a busy year .. Remember I am just blogging part time.

I will try to enjoy blogging more.

For sure I enjoyed blogging more .. Accomplished

A new niche blog this year

Yup I accomplished this one by having my new personal blog { Dexter Panganiban } and my New { Pambata.com } which targets students , and most of my post is written in Tagalog. It is also this year that I made a folder in this site targeting the PRC Board Exam Results

More Projects

I have already mention some of my projects in item # 5.

I will be a source of information both in Blogging and Technology

I believe it is done, If there any disagreement let me know . You can also check my recognitions received this year to support my claim

I will try to help new bloggers succeed

I also believe this is done and will continue until there are bloggers in need

I will optimized this site more

Partly it is done, I have now some keywords which ranks well and there where also some keywords which is now not being seen in the SERP. I may say that Big G is becoming to choosy for my chose keywords. And I think it is now great to be included in the first page of www.topblogs.com.ph.

I will research more and share informations with my reader.

I think I am also successful with this one.. Did You know that it increases my subscribed blogs

What about you, Did you accomplish your goal this year 2009 ? You might be a blogger or not. But I still believe that you have set a goal last year. I hope you made it I will just post my New Blogging Goals for the year 2009 Later.

Qube M1 Notebook is Coming

Nice to be back online. I am shifting house and we just finished our 6 days vacation, that is why Internet connection is very limited. My house internet connection will resume on Monday as per the local telephone company here in Riyadh. But anyway I just receive an email from Yehey about Qube M1 Notebook, It is great to know that there is a new Philippine computer seller Qube is preparing to launch a new netbook called Qube M1 Notebook , which will be released on December 20.

With it’s size I believed it is good to have this one as a traveling Notebook. If you are planning to use this computer for work, I don’t thinks it is a best buy. It is, I believe suitable for Chatting or blogging perhaps but not for Multi Tasking computer work.

This is not an affiliate things because I am not earning from this. But I would love to receive a demo unit of this one

OK I did not Make it to Philippine Blog Awards

Ok I did not make it to the Philippine Blog Awards even though I am nominated for Best Technology Blog, The Main reason is , I am not in Philippines and it still need to wait 7 mos before my vacation.

An Event Which I Failed to Attend

Yup it is an event which I failed to attend. And they call it WordCamp. There are lots of stories behind this event.

The Wordcamp Philippines is now finished but the experience it left to the Pinoy Bloggers will never be forgotten. I envy them because I was not able to attend due to the reason that I am not in Philippines.

And now as promised I am also linking this fellow Bloggers who shared their experience with the recent concluded Wordcamp Philippines. I copied the list from Jehzlau’s Post regarding this event.

Online Application for POEA OEC is Available

I would like to share you guys the email that I have received today from my fellow OFW, This post is applicable to all OFW like me. The message shows that POEA has now an online facility for all OFW. This facility could save as time in Processing our OEC.

New On-Line Application Process for the Issuance of the POEA Travel Exit Clearance for Balik-Manggagawa/Workers-On-Leave (BM/WOL)

The POEA, in its letter dated 13 June 2008, has informed of the new-on-line application process for the issuance of the POEA travel exit clearance for Balik-Manggagawa/workers-on-leave (BM/WOL).
Previously, OFWs would have to proceed to the POEA office and Philippine Overseas Labor Offices to apply for their exit clearance. With this online application system, the OFW can avail of the 2-way delivery system through the internet and have the clearance delivered back to their residence. There will be no need to go to the POEA. Since the application is online, this can be done virtually anywhere where there is an internet connection. This gives OFWs more time to spend with family and friends while vacationing in the Philippines .

To apply, the BM/WOL simply logs onto www.oecdelivery.com.ph and follow the instructions as detailed in the website. The service is available nationwide.

Should the BM/WOL decide not to avail of the 2-way Delivery System, they have the option to print out the OFW Info Sheet after applying on line and proceed to the POEA to file their application.

The BM/WOL may also secure their POEA travel exit clearance at the following:

a. Balik-Manggagawa Processing Division (BMPD), Service Area, POEA, Blas F. Ople Bldg., Ortigas corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City
b. POEA Regional Centers/Regional Extension Units ( REUs ) and Satellite Offices
c. POEA-deputized OWWA Regional Offices and Units
d. Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLO) in various Philippine Embassies and Consulates abroad
e. Exit Clearance One-Way Delivery System (Dropbox) POEA Service Area
f. POEA, REU-La Union, Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban, Davao, POLO-Jeddah and Singapore, for the issuance of the Multiple Travel Exit Clearance (MTEC). The MTEC is a set of two or more clearances issued to workers-on-leave/balik-manggagawa (BM/WOL) for use as an exit document within a period of twelve months from date of issuance. It allows the WOL/BM who exits from the Philippines more than once in a period of 12 months to secure his exit clearance on a one-time basis.

For more information, the OFWs may also visit POEA website at www.poea.gov.ph.
The new system is part of POEA’s continuous effort to provide quality service to OFWs.

On my next vacation to Philippine I might as well try this facility.
