TopBlogs.Com.ph Becomes Sociable

While checking my TopBlogs.ph ranking I have seen some development in their site. The following screen grab was seen in their site, The first screen grab shows that they have added some snippets in their ranking system.

The 2 small buttons allows you to submit a particular site to Social media Sites that is shown in below screen capture.

The other button will give you an opportunity to report certain website to the Admin if you think there is something unusual about that site.

It is good that TopBlogs.ph are looking ways to improve their website. So this is an explanation why their site show unusual stats the last days. Good Work and Much Appreciated. I do hope that Topblogs.com.ph will continue to improve their system.

What Is Happening to TopBlogs.com.ph

I have seen some inconsistency happening at TOP Blogs.com.ph for almost 4 days, They are not giving proper stats and yet there is no official statement that is being released by the site. I have seen this before which happen only for 1 day but now , it is already 4 days and I know it will still prolong. Is this because of server over load ? The same thing what happen to Abe Olandres before when he use to manage the site.

It would be great if we can hear something from the site. An explanation on what is happening.

Update : I received an email explaining the matters as follows :

Hello everyone,

Recently we had a few hiccups as a new version we rolled out messed around with the stats. I want to apologize for that issue and can guarantee it won’t happen again.

The update cleans up some of the internal processes, and some of the cheating that was occurring.

There are further updates coming soon, including the ability to report blogs, more expansive automated checking on our part, and so forth.

I hope everyone is finding TopBlogs.com.ph useful. In a few days we will cross 100,000 hits out! 13 blogs have received over 1000 hits from the site, and I look forward to sending your blogs even more traffic.

If there are any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate in emailing me.

I am surprised that James have blog that I am possibly part of the Philippine Top 50 Blogs which is taken form the latest changes of Alexa Ranking System.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank colorfulmars.com ( updated April 18th) for including me in the list of top 100 Blogger based on Blog Juice which is also blogged by Janette ( updated March 2008) .

But is this enough to be nominated in for the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards . Let’s see what will happen.

TopBlogs.com.ph : Monitoring Philippine Top Blogs

I have installed yesterday the new codes for TopBlogs.com.ph( former PinoyTopBlogs owned by Abe ). This is a way to source out new subscribers and readers within a specific Geo location. Since this is a Pinoy Top Blogs, I know that Pinoy Bloggers and Net enthusiast will be checking this site regularly.This might also be a source of some case study related to Philippine Blogging. So being Top Notch in this site will mean something later on.

Although site still have some broken links. [ Page navigation ], I would like to thank them for putting this project again live again. I remember when I was I just beginning in Blogging, I can’t even locate my blog on the first 5 pages It is good to see now that I am catching up. I may not be as popular as others but I am glad that I have increased my readership since my first post ( Sept 2007 ).

One that I have noticed is they removed the banner. This might be a strategy to lessen the load of the server. The over all look of the site is great. Nice and clean. Almost same color as this blogs theme. Another great feature is it is giving a live report of your current rank. I don’t know if they are still showing up below 50. It is reset to 0 every week.

One additional tip in order to take advantage in this kind of Blog ranking site is to put your blog in your specified niche. So that You can more exposure on those people dominating on that niche.
