So to all of You PR conscious, have you noticed this one ?

Year 2008 has been a great year for my Blogging career. Blogging has given me an extra income in addition to my day job. I am only doing part time blogging. But thanks to SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) I was able to do some post that increase my AdSense Earnings.

This year, the following post made to the top 10, in terms of Unique Visits, most of them are post I made for SEO and experimentation purpose.

As you can see none of those top 10 post really talks about Technology and SEO but those post are the entrance to my lost blog in the World Wide Web, Those post made more friends online in the blogging world as well as offline. So what I am saying here, don’t be afraid to put post which is beyond your niche. For me I put it my Blogging Asides, which you can see at the side bar.

Based on my stats, most reader of this blog uses the following browser

• Internet Explorer : 59.69%
• Firefox : 36.23%
• Safari : 1.97%
• Opera : 1.72%
• Chrome : 0.39%

Internet Explorer still tops the browser list in this blog. I also have about 10.97 % Returning Visitors based on Google Analytics for year 2008. Which is great it only means that those 10.97 percent are happy on what they see and they keep on coming back on this blog to see more.

And here is where my 2008 traffic comes from

• 6.06% – Direct Traffic
• 20.99% – Referring Sites
• 72.92% – Search Engines

Direct Traffic means they know my site and they will just type those site at their url or just press their bookmarks.

And those 20.99% comes from other blogger who generously link to my blog, some of them is because of exchange links thru blogs and some of them is just a link from my blog without asking anything. This are just few mentions about my site this year but I believe, this serves as my fuel to continue blogging.

As much as I want to maintain this blog as your primary source of Tech Information I am sad to say that I can’t do it, It is unless there are some Co Blogger out there that you want to post some of your works here. Well It is welcome. But I might say that it is still my decision If I will post those work or not. I hope you understand. You can send me a note thru my Contact Page.

I know that this will change my Income thru this blog but I believe I cannot afford to loose my day job. And the trust that has been given to me by the company. Anyway I have some blogs that are having passive income. So for sure I will still have some income to spend for my additional gadgets in the future. Nope I am not stopping I am just slowing down

Since My site has dropped from PR4 to PR2 I stopped doing Paid post, So I really don’t know the reason, Anyway I will just wait for some time before I will contact Google for this matter.

But I must say that it really affects the AdSense Earning of this blog.

After the success of my Comment Luv installation, I have seen some changes from my comment ,they actually increase and encourage more visitors inter action in addition to that it makes easier to follow the Commentators latest post.

I would like to announce another changes that I made today in this blog. I have now installed my Top commentators Plug-ins, It is set up to refresh daily weekly. And therefore I am making link love everyday everyweek to those who will comment.

Why I am saying it is a Link Love?

Did you know that being shown in the Top Commentators at the side bar gives additional link to your site and also give additional point to your Technorati incoming links. So if you like to have another Technorati juice, You might as well comment and be on top on some blogs that support this widget.
