I am always getting email asking me if I need an SEO specialist in order for me to be in Google Top Page. maybe when they are trying to search Google , there are times that they got stumble into my pages where I am telling them that I love SEO. Search Engine Optimization is really cool, Some says that they use black hat, grey hat, white hat or any other  color of hat. For me automation of things in order to go to Google Top 1 is not black hat. It is just a smart way of doing things in SEO industry. Black Hat is something like deceiving the searchers with things that cannot really deliver.

I have never done any SEO Consultation to any company or organization but I have done a lot with my own site. If I will charge fees for SEO Work it will definitely not be lower on how much I am earning nowadays in all my online ventures. And definitely I will charge a monthly fee in order to maintain my work. I don’t think that an SEO’d site will not need any maintenance. SEO is evolving and is constantly changing. Specially nowadays that Google is seeing competition with Facebook.

Doing SEO in any site is not easy, even lot’s of SEO Professional is saying it is only easy. Making SEO needs lots of time and also timing, SEO involves on site optimization and Off site optimization. It involves also proper link building as well as research.

But put it in mind that not all back links are good. There are back links which is only good for generating traffic and not good for increasing Google’s visibility. That is why I told a while ago that research is important. Not all low competition keywords is easy to optimized. When you make any optimization do not think that the things you are doing is just as easy as eating cake.

I still believe that formulating your own checklist will also help you a lot whenever you do keywords optimization. The Key is keyword planning. You need to plan to get to Google Top post.

Observation is also one of the important things to do, you need to observed Google results and see whatever gold mine that you could get from those links and sites in front of you.

Being a member and being friendly with other SEO Practitioner will also help a lot in your learning process. Be a member of SEO Forum.

Search Engine Marketing is also a must in your way up to Google and Web Traffic.

Well the question here, Is Blogging really dead ? I believe No, Have you tried asking your friend, “ What is a Blog ? “ and the usual answer you will get is . “ What is that ? “ , So How come it will be dead where in fact there are a minority knows about it.

Blog is now becoming a source of great information in a very wide subject, It can be Personal, Technology, News, A Library, And anything you can think of.

Blogs is not Dead and They are alive. As long as there are commenter and there are RSS readers who are subscribed to any of the blogs, The Blog will continue to grow. and I believed chron.com is with me regarding my opinion.

And What is great, Blogger’s today are becoming aware of their responsibility with their readers. Although I must admit that there are lots of Blog spammers out there.

In General I can say that this site will soon be a known site in Tech Industry. In General the site cover Gadget, Computer Hardware, Computer Software and More.

Yahoo rejected it, saying that the Google search deal they’ve signed is a better deal and adding that the requirement to replace the board and executive team is “absurd and irresponsible given the complexity of the deal.” We, by the way, agree with both points.

Yahoo!’s Board of Directors determined that accepting the proposal is not in the best interests of its stockholders. It is good to know that Yahoo’s Board is protecting the interest of their Stockholders.

So Google + Yahoo is better than Microsoft + Yahoo but In my Opinion this will not end here.

But on the other hand If I see a good custom web design, I will normally stop and check some features of it. Check on what some factors I can also apply to my blog. I know that not all can manipulate their themes but at least it is worth to try.

So how can you do it ? Normally you will go to a design blog and ask an opinion or help from those experts in that fields. A web design blog will normally answers your query thru a blog post, You may also check their archives to get other tips that might help you to have a better site.

You can also have a new sub domain and title it with ” Test ” in this way you can upload your new theme and you can play with it without risking of ruin your main page. By doing this I am able to understand on how WordPress Templates work. Although I cannot start from scratch in making WordPress Theme, But at least I can manipulate.

By having a good design, you can have a better impact to your readers.

Well I have been invited to make a review for a site that has a PR7 rank. The review below shows how I see the site as a first time visitor and suggestion are made with an aim to help the webmaster on having a user friendly interface for the users and Visitors.

WebHostingGeeks.com is a site that has a very strong PR7 web site dedicated to providing real and unbiased customer reviews of major web hosting companies.

Below are my suggestion and Comments , Feel free to comment about it

1)  Search Box

The webmaster should provide a search box on the upper right hand of his site. If a user come at their site for the first time and is searching for a review of a hosting company, A user will have hard time to find it out.

The search box should also contain filters of the price range that a certain hosting company may have. I can say that they aim to provide real and unbiased customer reviews of major web hosting companies .

2) User Interface

I tried to enroll on their site and try submitting a web hosting reviews in Customer Hosting Reviews part of the website, at first I have a hard time in locating the submit button since it is located on the upper right corner which has a small font. People who would like to visit this site want also to give their opinion, So I believed that making the submit button embedded in image or a bigger font will make it easier for a submitter to make his comments.

3) User Review

It would also be great if in the review page , the person reviewing the hosting company can provide his URL, If a consumer has a positive or negative review on any web hosting company one should prove that they are really using the service and not just telling something bad about the service.

4) About Page

http://webhostinggeeks.com/ is a review site, it is therefore necessary to make an about page telling history of the site to give more confidence to the reader that this site has really a fair and an unbiased reviews.

5) Ads Placement

I would suggest to provide a Link Ads form from Google if they want to have an additional income and put it in between header and the body

6) Suggestion about Site SERP

I believed that their site has been optimized for Google SERP, I would also suggest to work on Yahoo SERP since their site is nowhere to be found in Yahoo with their chosen keywords.

7) Suggestion in Domain Site Protection

One way to protect your site brand is to get the other site extension that you have.I have seen that the .info, .org, .mobi, .biz, & .us extension are still available in the market, If I were the owner of the site I will rush to a domain registration company such as godaddy and take those other address and redirect it to his website. Just one way to protect one’ site.

Look like Asus Eee PC 7″ has now a big brother as reported from Engadget.com called Eee PC 900. The new gadget will be out of the market by mid 2008.

The 9-inch Eee will hit in the “middle” of 2008, with that €399 pricetag for the 12GB version, but other capacities available (we saw an 8GB on display). No word yet on US pricing, but we’re trying to pry it out of them. ( From Engadget )

• 1GB of RAM will be standard (up from 512MB)
• SSD storage capacities of up to 12GB will be available

• The base price will jump from 299€ to 399€, not sure what that means for the US prices as computers usually sell for a bit less in the US

So for all bloggers that was late to purchase the Asus Eee PC 7″ last December, You have now lots of time to make money online and prepare for the purchase of this new gadget.

I believe it will be also a fast selling piece because of it’s amount. But In my Opinion it is not good to invest money for this kind of low specs computer. But rather get higher specs with a rather higher amount. It’s only advantage is it is an ultra portable PC . This is just my Opinion

The difference between a journalist and a blogger is that journalists have to adhere to certain guidelines that govern the freedom of speech. And whatever a journalist chooses to write about—be it popular or unpopular—we do not hide behind an anonymous name and are resigned to the fact that we have to take as much as we dish out.

I really agree that Journalist and bloggers are different. Because bloggers are practicing the freedom of speech. As Bloggers we don’t have Supervisors or editors to edit our write ups. Blogging is an expression of oneself. I as a blogger do not hide my identity you can always check my identity thru my about page for that matter.

But blogging, aside from Perez Hilton and the other big time bloggers (you know who you are) is for me a slacker job or a medium and pastime for lonely people to connect.

Well first of all not all blogger thinks blog as a source of income. Some blog their experience and knowledge just because they want to share their opinion in public. And some blog for fame. And Malu Fernandez is right that some blogs for monetization. Well for me I do both. I am monetizing thru different advertisers. I have to pay for hosting fee and other fee like my domain name and others blog expenses, not to mention my photography hobby.

My Opinion & Observation

I am just thinking if Malu Fernandez doesn’t have any job at Manila Standard. Will she be a blogger? I think so , because she knows how to be popular and make the blogosphere heat up . I may say that she has a good technique and a traits of a Master Link Baiter. I agree with Abe she should be nominated as Master Link Baiter of 2008.
