I am thinking of buying a netbook, so that I can bring it anywhere but due to lots of netbook being shown in the market it makes me think twice and wait for a better choice. I have seen Eee PC and Aspire one being sold in Saudi Market for a reasonable price. ( range from Saudi Riyals 1200 to 2000 = Php 14,000 to 24,000 )

So if you are not yet purchasing your netbook like me, There is a good news to us. Asus released an improved Eee PC 901 with 3G Capability called (named 3.75G by Asus).

Here in Saudi Arabia we have lots of nurses leaving in the hospital accommodation and some of them does not have an Internet connection at their room accommodation, So they usually pay a lot by connecting their mobile phone thru their laptop just to get connection. Although most of the time they fail to connect. And there are lots of OFW leaving in a isolated place where Internet connection is not available.

Asus are launching the 3.75G equipped Eee PC 901 in October this year, so expect most phone companies to start offering this laptop for free when purchasing a plan with a contract.

Taipei, Taiwan, September 24, 2008 – ASUS today announced that it will be adding 3.75G connectivity* to its hugely-popular series of Eee PC™ netbooks, enabling convenient and high-speed access to the Internet anytime, anywhere. The inclusion of 3.75G is a perfect addition to the Eee PC’s™ existing set of travel-friendly features such as its high portability, shockproof data storage and all-day battery life—strengthening its reputation as the ultimate solution for computing on the go.

With 3.75G, the Eee PC™ will be able to deliver on its promise of borderless one-day computing better than ever before. No longer bound to Internet hotspots, 3.75G-equipped Eee PC™ users will be able to enjoy low latency mobile broadband Internet access at high downlink and uplink speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and 2 Mbps** respectively, regardless of where they are—ensuring a seamless connected experience on the go. The Eee PC’s™ 7.5-hour battery life*** provides more than ample power to keep it up and running during extended outdoor excursions.

Frequent travelers will particularly welcome the timely addition of 3.75G support, which comes as service providers around the globe are ramping up their adoption of 3.75G High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA). This means that they will be assured of a reliable, high-speed mode of Internet access in many destinations around the world.

3.75G will make its first appearance in Eee PC™ 901 netbooks released to market from October 2008 onward.

Thanks to TechieGirl Aka to Amy for providing the link so that I can take snap shot at my PDAL.

I have made below some shots taken form my I-Mate PDAL , One is my Deskstop and the other one is my mobile enabled site as I discussed before.

Ahhhh one more thing, TechieGirl forget to inform that it should be installed in the Phone Memory to work. Since when I try to install the software, I tried to install it at the Memory Card and after installation it does not go to the function.

I am still using Windows Mobile Browser since this is pre installed with my PDAL. I tried to installed Opera Mini before but the trial period starts.

Do you suggest any browser other than Iexplore.

The software can be downloaded here .It is free to try.

Memory Infinite has a USB male connector at one end and a female connector at the other, providing an “add up” concept for USB finger discs. By connecting one Memory Infinite with another to add up the storage capacity, the user won’t waste the old storage capacity when getting a larger one. The user can choose to combine or separate Memory Infinite, making the usage of USB finger discs more convenient. And when Memory Infinite connects to a computer using its male end, other USB devices still can connect to its female end without having to occupy another USB port on the computer.
