Google informs the public that they are going to inform the public on monthly basis about their algorithm information that has been hidden for a long time. This is what Google Search Blog says about the recent search algorithm changes. I have made my observation and comments after each changes.

Related query results refinements: Sometimes we fetch results for queries that are similar to the actual search you type. This change makes it less likely that these results will rank highly if the original query had a rare word that was dropped in the alternate query. For example, if you are searching for [rare red widgets], you might not be as interested in a page that only mentions “red widgets.”

Above mentioned Google algorithm changes only shows that we need to use other keywords variation from our main keywords. So in our link building it is better to use different variation of keywords in our anchor text.

More comprehensive indexing: This change makes more long-tail documents available in our index, so they are more likely to rank for relevant queries.

Long tail keywords have always been more targeted than short keywords. Remember that when buyer searches for something in the internet, most of the time they use specified specification for their search.

New “parked domain” classifier: This is a new algorithm for automatically detecting parked domains. Parked domains are placeholder sites that are seldom useful and often filled with ads. They typically don’t have valuable content for our users, so in most cases we prefer not to show them.

So this is the death of earning big bucks from domain parking. It will be better to buy articles and post it in your domain and let it stay there to earn a passive income. A domain owner can use BlogSpot blogs if no hosting is available.

More autocomplete predictions: With autocomplete, we try to strike a balance between coming up with flexible predictions and remaining true to your intentions. This change makes our prediction algorithm a little more flexible for certain queries, without losing your original intention.

Therefore using of keywords synonyms is also important and may also show up in the search results.

Fresher and more complete blog search results: We made a change to our blog search index to get coverage that is both fresher and more comprehensive.

This has been discussed in my previous post about fresh results.

Original content: We added new signals to help us make better predictions about which of two similar web pages is the original one.

This is good for those article owners that are really spending time for their article. I always discourage scraping an article since it will do harm to a blog or web page in the future.

Live results for Major League Soccer and the Canadian Football League: This change displays the latest scores & schedules from these leagues along with quick access to game recaps and box scores.

It only means a tough competition in the SERP for Sports Blog.

Image result freshness: We made a change to how we determine image freshness for news queries. This will help us find the freshest images more often.

This is good changes since most of the time the image that shows in the SERP is irrelevant to the keywords that are being used in Image search. This is just my observation.

Layout on tablets: We made some minor color and layout changes to improve usability on tablet devices.

Well this is good for tablet users.

Top result selection code rewrite: This code handles extra processing on the top set of results. For example, it ensures that we don’t show too many results from one site (“host crowding”). We rewrote the code to make it easier to understand, simpler to maintain and more flexible for future extensions.

So will in not see results with the same domain occupying the top 4 spot in the SERP?

Above mentioned changes says only one thing, Google now loves fresh information to appear on the SERP. This is good for news sites and blogs. If this changes continues, those who owns statics site needs to make their own blog too, to stay on top. It will also mean new opportunity for content writers.

I also want others to make money online, like I do. I believe this blog is still a personal blog, though we are promoting this site as Tech and Gadget blogs, still there are some post in here that pertains to my experience about Blogging, SEO,Travels, Make Money Online and Personal Experience. I usually blog about something that a Search Engine searchers might be looking. When I am making blog post, I am asking myself the following :

Questions,When Making Blog Post.

Will this blog post interest my 4500+ feeds subscribers ?

Does my title is includes keyword that could be found by the Search Engine Searchers ?

Is it the usual terms that the people is typing in search engines ?

Did I mentioned my targeted keywords in my blogs ?

Will I not be ashamed in promoting this blog post over my social media friends ?

And here are the things I am doing if my answer is “NO” to the above mentioned questions,

if my answers is no, and I still want to post about it, I will usually make the post to appear on my sidebar and not sending it across my subscribers. So in short, I am making the post for bots and search engine for keywords hijacking. Check my blog post when I say that there is now no hidden post in this blog

If my answer is no , and I still want to post the topic, I will just change the title using ALL in One WordPress Plugin

Same method for number is being implemented.

I just make sure that I have enough keywords in my blog post that will not bother my readers.

I normally do not post about it, as an example if there are some news in the net in which it does not go with my belief, then I will just pass the opportunity on writing about it.

More Tips When Making Blog Post :

If I I had a hard time getting information in the net. I will blog about the result of my research, chances are there are no bloggers post about it and there are no competition on this particular keywords.Normally those kind of keywords are being searched by internet users who clicks the ads.

Long post is not always best for readers. Most of the time they just look at the post title, then scan the post, and then go to the comments section without reading the full article. So why aim for a long post? I believe having 200 to 300 words is enough for a normal post.

Don’t forget to add pictures/images in your post, it does not only good for your readers but also good for search engine optimization, provided that a proper picture tag is made.

Check our post about Basic Information about Search Engine Optimization

Remember an optimize post might lead to more visitors and eventually more income to your blogs.

So How do you make your blog post ? Care to share for the benefit of new bloggers.

Picture Taken at Butong Taal Batangas by Dexter Panganiban

As I am checking tech at hand, I have seen blog posts that were not properly written and full of grammatical errors, most of those blog posts were written during my first and second year of blogging. There are also some blog post that I can’t even understand, because those blog post are meant for search robots and not for human reading.

So I got this idea of going back to my earlier post and research for keywords that could bring more visitors to this blog. I believe that more visitors will only mean more passive income. By revising lots of my earlier post which were done in a speedy way, I could reduce my grammatical error , as well as I can decrease the bounce rate of this blog. I also have to increase the word counts so that I could also increase the possibility of targeting more keywords in a post.

So here are my top 10 plans to make my goal in earning passive income from earlier blog post :

Revise blog post and reduce the grammatical errors within the post.

Revise blog post and reduce the capitalization errors within the post.

Increase the content of a blog post and highlights the keywords to be targeted.

Increase internal linking to fresh and related blog post that was written after that particular post.

Increase the tags of the post and make it at least 10 each post.

Rephrase the title to become more reader friendly and search robot friendly.

Make sure that the post could be understood by the readers.

Proof read .. proof read.. proof read.

Add pictures in blog post to increase readability of my post.

Treat my blog post as an investment and remember that I am establishing my online brand as a resource person in blogging.

So how will this be a passive income? An increase of visitors from targeted keywords, keywords that could bring traffic whole year round, could potentially bring a customer or a regular visitors. This visitors could be a future customer or even a regular visitors of this blog.

A proper keyword could also attract tons of searches from the search engine, then I could add affiliate links or CPA (Cost Per Action) networks banners to those post.

I do hope that above mentioned plan could succeed, I believe that experiments could lead to a higher income streams in making more money online. Any more suggestion ?

Google has just announced that they will be now implementing this.

Today we’re excited because Google Suggest will be “graduating” from Labs and available by default on the Google.com homepage. Over the next week, we’ll be rolling this out so that more and more of you will start seeing a list of query suggestions when you start typing into the search box.

The following are just some of the Advantage that it may give to Google Users [ Extracted from Google Post ]

Help formulate queries: Instead of just typing [hotels in washington] – did you want [hotels in washington dc] or [hotels in washington state]? Don’t remember that song title or person’s name? Let Google help you search (and yes, I ended up choosing “From This Moment” as our wedding song).

Reduce spelling errors: Since suggestions are spell-corrected using the same “Did you mean?” feature that offers alternative spellings for your query after you search, misspellings and typos can be corrected ahead of time. Instead of wasting your time with a misspelled query like [new yrok times] or [tomorow never dies], search the first time with the correctly-spelled query.

Saves keystrokes: Who wants to spend their time typing [san francisco chronicle] when you can just type in “san f…” and choose the suggestion right away?

This will affect those bloggers that are fun of optimizing those wrong spelling keywords because as you know, Google will immidiately suggest the propoer spelling of the keyword research. Remember I once optimized for “ Downlaod “ and “Googel”.

So need to know where we can optimized for more

I just want to make it clear that this is not a paid review, I am just blogging about this to help my readers to gather more information resources. Aside from Google Trends which I blog before, I have stumbled a site that gives the recent Hot Words in town. [ hotwords.com ]

The site gives the latest keyword searches. They are claiming that the have partnered to different search engines site to gather all this information. Since they are still in Beta stage everything is free. I don’t know if they will have a paid version later on.

They have the daily top 10 keywords and Monthly Top 10 keywords, and no doubt those keywords that pertains to Google Stop Words are dominating.

They have to do something about those Adult and Offensive searches since this decreases their opportunity to earn. And we all know that those kind of site cannot survive without funds.

There are also other site which can give you those kind of data but this is a new site worth checking out. So what site are you using for your keyword research. Or you do not use at all ?
