The above graph shows my AdSense earnings this year compared to last year. I may say that it triples my earnings this year in AdSense Alone. But if you will deduct the expenses for hosting at Dreamhost I may say that it is only a few dollar from my earnings. I was also able to do private Advertising thru forums and contacts in the industry. Well for me I prefer Self Hosted since I believe that the control is with the self hosted blogs. Controls with datas such as mysql data for post and comments. But I know some might say that it is better for free site because they don’t have downtimes. In a way they are right, The only problem that I have with self hosted blogs is the downtimes, But if a blogger would be able to spend some money and study on where they can host, downtimes might be minimized.

Finding a perfect Web Hosting company is a task which us bloggers needs to be very careful. A perfect hosting will mean a great income specially when time comes that you have a very high volume of Visitors coming at your site.

A blogger should assess the hosting company where he/she intends to buy a hosting, Perhaps checking sites for web hosting rating will be a great help in order to know others experience about those site, Other comments and experience ussualy help us blogger in decision making.

Another suggestion might be checking web hosting awards for us to know if there are any award giving bodies gave them an honor or an A+ comments.

The most important things that a blogger should learn is studying the system of the hosting company where he want to enroll. There is a big difference between free and Paid Hosting when it comes to technicalities.

A new blogger should check for web hosting tutorials so that most of your question can be responded. Do you have your own Self Hosted Blogs? Or do you use Free blogs ? First of all let me differentiate the two. Self Hosted Blogs are those blogs hosted where you have to pay for it. Usually Self Hosted blogs use also Domains which are brought from a domain company such as Godaddy.com or the Hosting company itself. Maybe some Web hosting Articles might help you understand what I mean.

Free Blogs are those blogs hosted under Blogspot.com , WordPress.com, multiply.com, i.ph and others , Those are site which gives you a space to write on. But not all gives you the freedom to monetize. You can see some of my thoughts for this two types of Blog Platform.

I have about 26,000+ Kb SQL Files and I am not successful in putting it back where it belong. So I think You know what is my problem. Anybody care to help.

BTW sorry to inform you that all comments from July 17,2008 until today was not properly back up. But if I can resolve issue about my database there will still be a chance to put it back.

So here are my Top 10 Tips :

1. Blog on niche or subject that you really know, and not those subject which to pretend to know. I can see blogs that blog about those subject that they really don’t know. They just pick information in the net and compile it on their blog. I believe it is not fair.
2. Show expertise on your niche to be able to get the trust of your reader, You must be able to answer question which pertains to your blog subject.
3. Be friendly both Offline and Online events. remember without your reader your blog is useless.Try to respond to the comments that they have written in your blog and got to their blog and comment also. You may also try to subscribe to their Feeds so that you will able to know the latest information about that blog.
4. Write for your readers and not for the Search Engine, I sometime write for search engine but I make sure that those post do not appear on the homepage. So that it will not disrupt my new visitors.
5. Learn how to make research on proper keyword to be used. As the saying goes there are many ways to cook an egg. So be sure to cook it properly and tasty.
6. Learn how to apply SEO on your post, This is most of the time being neglected. Always remember hat if you want to earn something from your online presence, Visitors coming from the Search Engine are your probable customers.
7. If you really like to blog and make a brand for your blog, why don’t you spend $10 for your domain name and some money for your host. A blog looks more professional when domain name does not come from free hosting site. And consider making a good graphics for your new blog.
8. If you are just gaining visitors and you would like to promote your blog, Be sure your blog has enough good information before you advertise or market your blog.
9. Know how to use the social book marking sites and learn to get your analytics.
10. Make a very strong Password to avoid being Hacked.
