After coming back in Saudi Arabia I have received SPAM Marketing Messages from different company in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . The problem is that all messages are being sent in Arabic language that I could not understand. So obviously messages are not for us expats, but for Saudi and Arab speaking Nationals.

Those company should have a program to filter expats numbers. Furthermore it is better if Mobily, STC , Zain ( Saudi Mobile Carrier ) could have an option to block unnecessary marketing SMS messages. It is good that UAE will start filtering spam Message. I don’t know if SMART, Globe, PLDT has this kind of system being implemented in the Philippines.

The UAE TRA has confirmed that it has put in place a new policy to cut down on the amount of spam received in the UAE.

The first policy will focus on mobile SMS spam, with both UAE operators, Etisalat and du, required to gain consent from users before sending them marketing messages.

Good for UAE residents. So what do you think ? Are you also annoyed with this messages being sent without consent.

Just for information you may want to know on how to activate globe roaming while outside Philippines.

So if you are not yet purchasing your netbook like me, There is a good news to us. Asus released an improved Eee PC 901 with 3G Capability called (named 3.75G by Asus).

Here in Saudi Arabia we have lots of nurses leaving in the hospital accommodation and some of them does not have an Internet connection at their room accommodation, So they usually pay a lot by connecting their mobile phone thru their laptop just to get connection. Although most of the time they fail to connect. And there are lots of OFW leaving in a isolated place where Internet connection is not available.

The 3.75G equipped Eee PC will allow users to download data at up to 7.2Mbps. Asus are launching the 3.75G equipped Eee PC 901 in October this year, so expect most phone companies to start offering this laptop for free when purchasing a plan with a contract.

Taipei, Taiwan, September 24, 2008 – ASUS today announced that it will be adding 3.75G connectivity* to its hugely-popular series of Eee PC™ netbooks, enabling convenient and high-speed access to the Internet anytime, anywhere. The inclusion of 3.75G is a perfect addition to the Eee PC’s™ existing set of travel-friendly features such as its high portability, shockproof data storage and all-day battery life—strengthening its reputation as the ultimate solution for computing on the go.

With 3.75G, the Eee PC™ will be able to deliver on its promise of borderless one-day computing better than ever before. No longer bound to Internet hotspots, 3.75G-equipped Eee PC™ users will be able to enjoy low latency mobile broadband Internet access at high downlink and uplink speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and 2 Mbps** respectively, regardless of where they are—ensuring a seamless connected experience on the go. The Eee PC’s™ 7.5-hour battery life*** provides more than ample power to keep it up and running during extended outdoor excursions.

Frequent travelers will particularly welcome the timely addition of 3.75G support, which comes as service providers around the globe are ramping up their adoption of 3.75G High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA). This means that they will be assured of a reliable, high-speed mode of Internet access in many destinations around the world.

3.75G will make its first appearance in Eee PC™ 901 netbooks released to market from October 2008 onward.

Finally it is here the Android Phone, G Phone, HTC Phone , or what ever they call it. As long as it is here. It was recently launch by T-Mobile yesterday. If you can remember I blog before regarding the so called leaked photos and specification of Android Phone.

This will be a test Mobile for Google Mobile Application. Well about the device, The device is made by Taiwan-based phone manufacturer HTC which will sell for $179 with a two-year contract, starting Oct. 22. T-Mobile will offer two different bundles of Internet and messaging services, on top of its usual voice calling plans: $25 for unlimited Internet and "some" messaging, or $35 for unlimited Internet and messaging. (T-Mobile should be posting these details soon at its press site, which for now only offers a replay of the phone’s unveiling in New York.).

I don’t know when it will be released in Philippines. If you remember iPhone was released by Globe Telecoms. Smart Telecoms should be fast in having deals with HTC so that they can have chance in releasing this phone in Philippines market. Many says that the Android Phone is an iPhone Killer so if Smart can get it , it will be a great competition for Globe iPhone. Just my thoughts.

So here are some specification available in the net.

It has QWERTY Keyboard, 3 Megapixel Camera, Wi-Fi, Music and Video Player, and a Google packed products.

Some feature as shown in via gizmodo.com

Ok is seems that Google Phone Via HTC will be released this November. After FCC approval of the above casing that will host the Google Android.

HTC’s “DREA100″ handset has been approved for sale in the U.S. after passing the FCC’s wireless tests. T-Mobile is going to be the carrier for the Dream handset, which will apparently have a BlackBerry-like “jog ball” as the primary controller.

I know that this phone will also give hype to the market like what happen when iPhone 3G was launch. The specification and details is no yet known in the public. But just for fun .

Hello with due respect to the owner of Asia Century Multi Advertising let me explain why I said the Title of this post. By the way this is just my review and nobody asked me to do this just want to explain.

I have been implementing the Asia Century Multi Advertising Affiliate program and I would like to have an in depth analysis on my earnings for this local ads that I have start implemented in this blog since July 10,2008.

I will have an assumption that if I use AdSense I will have an approximate CPC [ Cost per Click ] of $ 0.04 which in reality ranges from 0.02 to 0.06 or even better. But for the sake of calculation I will use $0.04

Facts about my account with with Asia Century Multi Advertising

Implementation Period = July 10 – August 5

Page Impression – 55,000

CTR 1.22 %

55,000 x 1.22% = 679 Clicks

By Calculation I would like to use my assumption above using the data I gathered from my Advertising period as follows

679 Clicks X $ 0.04 = $ 26.84 x Php 44 / US$ = PHP 1,180.00

Comparing to the above mentioned Assumption I have a total Php 92.5 amount in my Account with them with 137 approved , 10 Leads which is approximately 7.8% of the assumed calculated cost above. And if I used the approved one I will have as follows

137 Clicks X $ 0.04 = $ 5.48 x Php 44 / US$ = PHP 241.12

Where the Approved Amount is almost 38.34 % of the assumed AdSense Clicks.

Suggestion :

It would be great if they could make a contact page where we as publisher could ask question about our earnings. ( Have you found their Contact Page ? )

They need to explain why the Clicks are not matching with the Approved Paid Clicks

It would be great if they can make their CPC cost higher. At the moment they only have about PHP 0.5 to PHP 0.6 ( $ 0.011 – $ 0.014 ) compared to Google AdSense which can give an average of $ 0.05 according to some experts

They have to make other option in Payment aside from Check, Perhaps they can make Globe G Cash or Smart Money or via PayPal.

Conclusion :

I can only conclude for this site and not for all blogs. For this site I believed I have to remove those ads and consider looking for some other opportunity with Direct Ads or Affiliate Marketing thru Market Leverage, Pepperjam or CJ where I might have a better earning opportunity. Asia Century Multi Advertising might be better for other site but not on this site. Their Ads might not be contextually relevant with my niche that is why I am having lots of Click not Approved.

But wait how much would they sell this talk of the town unit in Philippines ?

Here is the answer form Globe >>> Iphone Globe Plans

PREPAID – Get the iPhone 3G Prepaid Kit and enjoy 50 hours of FREE Internet!*

PRICE

8 GB – P41,889

16 GB – P48,899

*Every iPhone Prepaid Kit is provided with P200 worth of free load every month for 5 months. Activation of the browsing rate is required. Text TIME to 1111 for free.

I still believe that the iPhone 3G prepaid price is very expensive.

Below is screen capture of the price for Plan Holders

- 2-year lock-up applies.
- Rates are inclusive of VAT and Currency Exchange Rate Adjustment (CERA).
- Free text allocation applies to local text messages (Globe to Globe and Globe to other networks).
- Free call minutes applies allocation applies to local calls (Globe to Globe, Globe to other networks, Globe to landline and NDD calls).

I believe only the elite could afford to buy this unit. But I know competition is great in Philippines, I wonder how much will it cost in Green Hills ?

With the recent development of PayPal Philippines, I wonder who will take and grab the opportunity among our Giant Telecom in the Philippines. Will it be Globe Telecom or Smart Telecom.

Globe Telecom has it’s what they called Globe G-Cash that can be reloaded and use like a debit card in the mall and Smart Telecommunication has Smart Money with also the same function as mentioned above and Smart Padala where our fellow Filipino could send money from abroad to Philippines

Well I think whoever comes first and implement it, the beneficiary will be us the Online Marketer or what they called it Netrepreneur and of course also the Filipino People who are just entering in world of Online Purchasing.

So to the Giant Telecom, I have given you an idea. So work act on it now, Make the interface in between PayPal and your product.
