The Xyboard will come in two versions- an 8.2 inch tablet and a 10.1 inch tablet that will run on Android Honeycomb with an option to upgrade on Ice Cream Sandwich. The Motorola Xyboard will be priced along the range of its competitor gadget, the iPad 2. Both tablets will be made available starting this holiday month online and in Verizon Wireless stores. There are options two get either 16 GB storage or a 32 GB.

The Xyboard design is very sleek and dramatic. It is scratch-resistant, with high definition Gorilla Glass display. It is also coated by water repellant nanoparticles with magnesium reinforced body with matching aluminum housing.

This Motorola gadget will run on dual core 1.2 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. It has tons of preloaded apps like the Motocast streaming app, Dijit, Quickoffice HD, GoToMeeting, Google Talk and Citrix. It will also support mobile apps for Gmail, Google Maps and YouTube. It is Wi-Fi enabled with 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera.

In the world of mobile computing, with lots of tablets already available in e market, consumers are looking for that ‘differentiator’ that will set a tablet apart from the rest of similar gadgets out there, according to Maribel Lopez, principal analyst of Lopez Research. With the rise of tablets from different players in the tech industry, it is good to know that gadget lovers are now laid with a lot of options to get the best value for their money.

Probably one of the most talked about person today in Philippine Blogosphere is Mr. Jayce Perlas of Perlas and Luna PR Agency. Well to those of you who doesn’t know it yet, Mr. Jayce Perlas have angered a Tech Blogger ( Arpee ). It was an incident that happened in a product launch of a certain Electronic Product handled by Perlas and Luna.

I got the news upon browsing this Plurk page , You can also see other  Plurk page where other bloggers have expressed their concern about this incident. Well I do not know Mr Jayce Perlas or Arpee Lazaro personally but the way Arpee narrated the incident it seems that there are still some PR People who does not know what blogging is.

I think those PR people, more than anybody else in that event, should know how to be polite.

But to all of you , why don’t you try to Google “ Jayce Perlas “ or “ Perlas and Luna “. Search results will show you some bloggers who already blogged about the incident. { Perhaps it will not be good for them }

Although Hansen CEO of secTheory and Stracener acknowledged that in-the-wild attacks that use Google gadgets are rare, but they said that’s likely to change. I believed that Google response to this matter should be address as soon as possible.
