Well year 2009 gave Tech At Hand a big jump in pageviews as shown in statistics, it is about 200 % increase in page views compared to year 2008, I might say that there are some Top SEO keywords that give visitors to my site. Year 2009 gave 1,257,771 Pageviews compared to 628,007 Pageviews in year 2008 as shown in Google Analytics, Pageviews came from 6.57% come from Direct Traffic , 10.18% Referring Sites 83.21% Search Engines ( Google, Yahoo and Bing – Google has the highest share). Most of the traffic came from Google. Referring sites includes other bloggers who shared their link love to my site. I am happy to report that my PR has been updated, it’s been a long time that my site has been penalized for PR, as well for some keywords like “ Free PSP Games Download “ and “ Free PSP Games “ which were ranking well in SERP for some time before it was penalized.

But now I am happy to report that I got back my PR4, and for sure I will not again violate Google so that I can enjoy a higher PR later on. I may not get back the SERP position for those mentioned keywords but at least I got my PR back.

I am not a PR fanatics but I am just happy to report what happen. I have heard a PR updates last week but this site was not included. Glad to see this morning that I got my PR4 Back. It was last year when my PR suddenly go down because of selling links and great that I block those links using robots.txt. Because I promised myself not to sell peyd links on this blog again.

After that I made an appeal to Google thru Google Webmaster and after few months now my PR came Back.

Some says that PR has nothing to do with SERP but I say, It is affecting SERP if your PR is more than 4 . If your PR is from 1 to 3 I think based on experience it will not make a difference not unless Google changes it’s algorithm.

But anyway this site is still ranking in some keywords even while having a low PR. So it is only Google can tell the real meaning of the Page Rank or Trust Rank.

So any experience about PR Changes lately and did you feel any changes in Traffic ? I just hope that my Traffic from the above mentioned Keywords will come back because it will surely bring in some passive income.

Year 2008 has been a great year for my Blogging career. Blogging has given me an extra income in addition to my day job. I am only doing part time blogging. But thanks to SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) I was able to do some post that increase my AdSense Earnings.

So what I am saying here, don’t be afraid to put post which is beyond your niche. For me I put it my Blogging Asides, which you can see at the side bar.

Based on my stats, most reader of this blog uses the following browser

• Firefox : 36.23%
• Safari : 1.97%
• Opera : 1.72%
• Chrome : 0.39%

Internet Explorer still tops the browser list in this blog. I also have about 10.97 % Returning Visitors based on Google Analytics for year 2008. Which is great it only means that those 10.97 percent are happy on what they see and they keep on coming back on this blog to see more.

• 6.06% – Direct Traffic
• 20.99% – Referring Sites
• 72.92% – Search Engines

Direct Traffic means they know my site and they will just type those site at their url or just press their bookmarks.

And those 20.99% comes from other blogger who generously link to my blog, some of them is because of exchange links thru blogs and some of them is just a link from my blog without asking anything. Based on the report Google stills tops the searches followed by Yahoo , Microsoft , Ask and AOL.

I have blog about the searches last January and comparing the two reports it seems that Google Searches is still dominating and also increased their percentage compared to Yahoo. With this data Google could bring us visitors 3 times yahoo. Although this data comes from US. It is still a Good study on where we need to optimized.

So Google should bring back some of my keywords since others already come back. As an example see search results for “Techsatish” where I explained it before here

I am still waiting for my Games Keywords such as Free PSP Games Download to be seen in the 1st or 2nd page of SERP. Currently it can be seen on Fifth page from Google.com.ph as shown below. [ But still it is not being seen in Google.com site ]
