Well actually Janette told me thru e-mail that I won the Blog-Professional Category and since I am in Saudi Arabia I have deputized Fitz from Ready To Be Rich to get my award, so the one in the picture is Fitz { Thanks Fitz for representing Tech At Hand } . So to all members of Digital Filipino judges, thanks to all of you for trusting Tech At Hand’s capability for the mentioned award.

OK I did not Make it to Philippine Blog Awards

Ok I did not make it to the Philippine Blog Awards even though I am nominated for Best Technology Blog, The Main reason is , I am not in Philippines and it still need to wait 7 mos before my vacation.

An Event Which I Failed to Attend

Yup it is an event which I failed to attend. And they call it WordCamp. There are lots of stories behind this event.

The Wordcamp Philippines is now finished but the experience it left to the Pinoy Bloggers will never be forgotten. I envy them because I was not able to attend due to the reason that I am not in Philippines.

2008 Philippine Blog Awards Nominations

I just want to thank those who nominated my blog under Technology Category for the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards . I just submitted my Entry to the judges today. They will actually ask you to provide 5 best post related to the category where you are nominated.

Well I just found out that my site was not Purely Technology but most of my post deals with Blogging , SEO and Other Things related to Technology. Since I would like to make this blog in Focus to Technology. Starting today most of the Visible post from this blog will have more weight in Technology and Making Money Online, I prefer to move my future SEO post and Blogging Post to my other Personal blog in the making.

Some of you knows my other blog already but I will first try to put more content on that blog before I can shout out here the URL. But if you want to know it now, Why don’t you search my name in Google and you may find it

$65.2 billion In Internet Advertising for 2008

I just read a very good information about Internet Advertising the report says that in 2008 there will be whooping total of $65.2 billion in 2008, which represents nearly 10% of all ad spending across all media. and they further says that

Keyword ads will remain the dominant type of Internet advertising throughout the forecast period, capturing more than a third of annual online ad spending worldwide. Display ads will be the next largest type of Internet advertising, capturing more than 20% of worldwide spending annually through 2011, followed by classified ads with nearly 19% of all online ad spending per year. Spending in both categories will be pressured by rich media ads, which are expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 50% during the 2007-2011 forecast period.

With this kind of report which is written and published all over News Media and Blogosphere this lead to a conclusion that Internet Marketing will have it’s boost some day. So if someone is now earning about $100 a month time will come that he can earn about $1,000 or even $5,000 a month. This could also happen to Filipinos, It will just depend on how an individual Internet marketer will deal with his fashion.

It is also not impossible that someday I can also earn as much as Php 200,000 in Blogging like James.

I made this post just to inform you guys that there is really money in the Internet and it is not a hoax. I don’t have Make Money Online Blogs but occasionally I share some thoughts about Problogging or Making Money Online on this Blog.

Top 10 Emerging Influential Pinoy Blogger

After contemplating about Janette Toral’s search for Emerging Influential Blogger , I am now voting for the following site . I would to inform that since there is a limit of Blog’s Age where I have to choose from those blogs started from July 1,2007, I had a hard time locating the archive dates of different blogs.

My Journal – I would like to start with my wife blog. I have not yet formally announce it here but My wife has started blogging. Although not that full time. I know she will be influential .
PRC Board Exam Results – I have started another sub domain of this blog and it is really fresh. I have seen a good potential on this niche and I know someday after doing SEO and other campaign for this new blog, It will also be influential like other blogs.
Mar Roxas for President in 2010 – Definitely election is coming and I know that there will be a big boost on his blog for campaigning about Mar Roxas and by the way he is an active blogger.
Fitz, a blogger with a great thought on making money online , investing and business topics., I like business that much.
JoanJoyce, a dedicated blogger discussing interesting thoughts on blogging and lifestyles. I actually found her thru Entrecard and I know every Entrecard users knows her.
Technogra.ph/ – Technograph covers the Philippine tech scene, featuring commentary, news, reviews, event coverage, and other related developments.
Silkenhut.com Pinoy blogging experiences. Includes blogging tips, technical blogging guides, WordPress, and SEOI
Atmaxplorer – Games resources, my kids love to have downloaded in their PSP.
Tech Source from Bohol – I like Tech Blogs and of course this guy from Bohol have it.
Inspiringentries.com – His blog deals with different inspiring entries and tackle about Christianity. I know that someday God will let this blog touch lots of life.

So that completes my entries. But I am not saying that I only follow this blogs, I am only saying they are the 10 of the youngest blog I follow.

Update : Since Silkenhut is not qualified, I am adding Techblog.ph into my list. This is a Tech Group Blog where I am one of the contributor. I know this blogs will reach their goal to be the main source of technology news in Philippines.
