People are really doing everything to lessen their work. First Touch screen was introduced in Mobile Phone and now almost all Monitor manufacturer are doing their best to bring this technology in Big Screen. Asus is also trying to compete with other brands that introduceds this one already such as HP Touchsmart. The 15.6-inch touch screen coupled with ASUS’ touch-friendly user interface (having an XP / Atom N270 underpinning) and great design definitely like a winner. Eee Top will be making in Shipping  Stateside in "a few weeks" especially for a $599 ( as per Engadget ). I may not have this amount to buy for this PC but I will definitely check it out when it hit the nearby store.

By the way if you are looking for a Touch Screen Device this one is not for you, it does have a distinctive design. They said that the unlocked phone has an estimate price of $600 to $700.

OOpss I was not able to blog about Macworld Conference and Expo that happen last January 5-9, perhaps I was busy sourcing information about CES 2009. The Tech World seems to have more attention at the CES 2009 that is why most feeds are talking about CES and Not MacWorld. Last Year Macworld made a News compared to CES because of the Apple Iphone Launch.

The above shown device is called Movit Mini WiFi tablet from GiiNii, which just happens to run Android. I always dream of having a Wifi Tablet but due to the price I would better by another laptop.

The device features a 4.3″ screen, running at 480 x 272 resolution, Bluetooth, a front side camera, and a soft keyboard.  Also on board, a built in speaker, 256MB, and a MicroSD cart slot.  As far as software goes, it comes with Skype support ready to go.

This unit will be available in the Middle of the year. But I don’t know when it will be available in Philippines. This unit tends to grab some percentage of Ipod Touch. Just 2 days ago I have been drooling to buy a Netbook but this CES let me think twice, thrice and again and again. One of the reason is I know that there will be lots of new Netbook to be shown in CES 2009. Hewlett-Packard is one of those companies that shown it new HP Mini 2140 Netbook. HP Mini 2140 Netbook claims to be a netbook for business Users.

So what is the The Specs :

Well, an upgraded mobile Atom processor (1.6GHz) from Intel Corp, 120GB hard disk or an 80GB solid state drive, backlit 10-inch LCD display screen (16:9 aspect ratio), hard drive accelerometer, a full ExpressCard/54 slot, a total physical weight of 2.6 pounds , and a six-cell battery capable of delivering up to eight hours of mobile operation.
