I was not able to do some post lately because I am really buried with lots of work. And today I can spare some time doing some post and here it is.

While I am doing some check up on my keywords results, while I am logged on to G-mail, I have noticed that there are some changes in the search results. I saw arrows and Cross Mark in the results. Well I did some investigation and I found out that this is the latest feature of Google Search , which they called it Search Wiki .

Some says that this is Good bye to page rank and Alexa Rank since that there is possibility that this will be one of the basis for Google Algorithm. Well I think it is possible since why would Google do this if they don’t have intention to incorporate it on the Search Results.

But I think I would like to warn SEO players or I may say keyword hijackers that it is not yet the right time to boost all your keyword searches at the first page of the SERP and not doing it to the others. Since It will just give an indication to Google that you are a SEO Practitioner and you are spamming the Search Wiki and this is also what Patrick think. We have to wait on what Matt Cutts will comment in this New Google feature. { I hope He will post about it soon }

Well today I test it by making my site and other site linking to me on the first page. At least by doing this I am not being a spammer since other site was also voted to the first page. Well this are all Google new innovation. And I think if it will not have a good outcome from the user it will just stop.

So we have to wait and see if there will be changes in the SERP

You can check this one also :

So Happy Browsing.

Nope I am not referring to the person itself but to their Website. I would like to make a study on what do their website standing as of to date. Here are the details and my observation of their site. My intention is to study on how this two site which are really funded is making into the SERP. And Who made better optimization John Mc Cain SEO or Barack Obama SEO.

Compete.com Results

Upon checking both candidate’s site and making some input in compete.com I found out this results :

Barack Obama is Leading by almost half of it’s visitors over John Mc Cain Site.

Same information from compete.com

Search Trends

Upon Checking the Search Trends using their names as Keywords it shows that Seach users are more interested with Barack Obama rather than John Mc Cain, maybe they know Mc Cain already and they have to search for Barack Obama’s Credentials as a leader.

Visitor’s Analysis

As you can see Barack Obama Site is leading in terms of Unique Visitors which only means that Barack Obama’s Site is visited more than John Mc Cain Site. Which give Barack Obama more exposure in the New Media.

Keywords Used

Their name when searched in the Internet shows their Main Page although Barack Obama is redirecting to his Fund Raising Campaign. One thing they forget is to optimize their site’s keywords with their running mate. Since upon checking “ Joe Biden “ Keywords and “ Sarah Palin “ Keywords in the net via Google it only shows their Wikipedia Entry and not eithr of the two Presidential Candidate Site.

When I check for Sarah Palin keywords, John Mc Cain Site was not even seen in the first 100 Results even his site gives a Title of JohnMcCain.com – McCain-Palin 2008 while upon searching “Joe Biden “ the SERP shows Barack Obama site @ # 90 of the SERP using Barack Obama and Joe Biden: The Change We Need .

I think they forget that their running mates supporter might also boost their campaign. And I suggest that those keywords should also reach main site of their partner candidate when search. Just my thoughts

PR of Site

Barack Obama Site has PR6 and John McCain Site has PR7 as per my Toolbar but still Barack Obama has higher visitors. So it only means that Unique Visitors does not depend only in PR.

Other Keyword Search

Just for fun I searched “ Best US President Candidate 2008 “ and here the results

Where can I find Their Site

You can Check Barack Obama Blog and John Mc Cain Blog for additional information.

So I hope you like my mini Face Off of the two site

My site does not have enough data to show. But is say that my visitors also visit macuha.com and Jehzlau-concepts.com . What amaze me is when I click Marhgil’s Macuha.com it shows that most of his visitor is visiting mine. The data shown above only show that Google Trends for website is accurate since both of the above mentioned site is with in my same niche. Anyway if you would like to try check this link. Just remember to change the location at the upper right corner where ever your site belongs.

I don’t know if Google Trends for Website will also give ranking data such as alexa. or will they introduce a different matrix from Alexa and Technorati . Hmm.. Something to watch out.

This is a question in which lots of bloggers have in mind, Direct Advertising is it better than AdSense ? I have seen some site that is slowly turning away to AdSense and going into Direct Advertising.

Are you willing to remove your AdSense in exchange of Direct Advertising. For me I do , If advertisers are willing to pay 10 times of my present income. Why it’s too much ? Nope it is not nobody knows what will be the future of your site, Visitors is going up as per Google Analytics am I sure that after a year I still have this single digit per day or I will have 2 digit per day . Who knows. I think If I will have to decide on that matter, I will have to put both but reduce the AdSense and get Direct Advertisers.

Where to get Direct Advertisers ?

Usually Direct Advertisers came from Forums. One forum I know that can give lots of Direct Advertisers with right amount is Digital Point and Site Point. Well I tried doing business in Digital Point but not in Site Point. There is also V7n.com.

I have seen some top sites that get advertiser thru bigger Advertising deal, Big means those advertisers that only advertise in Media Prints or Television. I think you have to prove something before you can get those advertisers. Well I personally don’t know how to get one. Usually those big advertiser go to News Paper Site, or Well known media site who have millions of visitors per month.

Just to inform you those Direct Advertisers link at my homepage and side bar gives more income way far behind AdSense.

Maybe some of you will ask why don’t I put my Advertising Page, Well I am planning to put one but as you can see, I need to first re-arrange my theme or I prefer link advertisers, so that it will not annoy my visitors but does it annoys ?

What are the usual requirements of Direct Advertisers ?

No of Visitors and Page Views

Alexa Rank

Google PR

SERP Position

If I am going to ask you , which do you prefer AdSense or Direct Advertisers. But before doing any direct negotiation it would be better if you PayPal .
