It is called 2009 BCR Open Romania it will be a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. This will be the 17th edition of the event known as the BCR Open Romania, and will be part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series of the 2009 ATP World Tour. Roger Federer vs Del Potro Score Results — 2009 US Open Tennis

Juan Martin del Potro beats Roger Federer 3-6 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 to win the US Open 2009 Men’s Singles Title

Del Potro had never defeated Federer in six previous meetings. But he’d shown signs of progress in their most recent clash, a five-set defeat in the French Open semifinals.

Playing in his first Grand Slam final, del Potro confessed to having trouble sleeping because of his nerves. The tension was evident in the first set, as the young Argentine appeared overmatched while struggling to establish his serve and his forehand. [Read more: sportsillustrated.cnn.com ]
