Series 40 1st and 2nd Editions Globe Setup | GPRS services (WAP/MMS/Internet)
How to set up Globe GPRS services (WAP/MMS/Internet) manually for Series 40 1st and 2nd Editions
So here is the settings that I got from globe.
WAP Over GPRS Settings
# Go to Menu>Services>Settings >Connection Settings>Edit active service settings
Enter details for the following parameters:
* Settings name: MyGlobe Connect
* Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
* Proxies: enable
* Primary Proxy: 203.177.42.214
* Port: 8080
* Secondary Proxy: (Blank)
* Data bearer: GPRS/Packet Data
* Data Bearer: GPRS/Packet Data
* Bearer Settings:
+ GPRS Access Point: www.globe.com.ph
+ Authentication Type: Normal
+ Login Type: Automatic
+ User name:
+ Password:
MMS Settings
1. Go to Messages>Message Settings>Multimedia Messages >Connection Settings> add Edit Active Multimedia Settings
Enter details for the following parameters:
* Settings name: MyGlobe MMS
* Homepage: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
* Proxies: enable
* Primary Proxy: 203.177.42.214
* Port: 8080
* Secondary Proxy: (Blank)
* Data bearer: GPRS/Packet Data
* Proxy: Enable
* Proxy Address: 192.40.100.20
* Proxy Port: 8080
* Data Bearer: GPRS/Packet Data
* Bearer Settings:
+ GPRS Access Point: mms.globe.com.ph
+ Authentication Type: Normal
+ Login Type: Automatic
+ User name:
+ Password:
Internet Over GPRS Settings

* Settings name: MyGlobe Internet (for Postpaid); MyGlobe Inet (for Prepaid)
* Homepage: (Blank) or set your own homepage
* Proxies: disable
* Primary Proxy: (Blank)
* Port: (Blank)
* Secondary Proxy: (Blank)
* Data bearer: GPRS/Packet Data
* Data Bearer: GPRS/Packet Data
* Bearer Settings:
+ GPRS Access Point: internet.globe.com.ph(For Postpaid) / http.globe.com.ph(For Prepaid)
+ Authentication Type: Normal
+ Login Type: Automatic
+ User name:
