Filipino Photographer VS Media Giants

Anton Sheker Anton Sheker a Filipino Professional Photographer has pursue his claim vs a Media Giant in Philippines, Manila Bulletin regarding the pictures that Manila Bulletin had allegedly used in their newspaper.

Last June 5,2008 Anton has filed the cased with his lawyer Atty Rod Vera into the Regional Trial Court with case #08-436 for copyright infringement and damages.

I think this will probably be the first time an EXIF file will be used as Evidence in the Philippines. Now will the Philippine copyright law and protection be tested ? Or there will be a settlement later on.

It is good that somebody is brave enough to face a giant. This will be like David & Goliath Story .
