Covering Literary Contest of My Son

I have tested my new Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 APO DG Macro Interchangeable Lens and I must say that I am really satisfied with the result of the photos. I have covered the Literary contest of my son in their school, and I have been shooting at about 25 – 30 meters away from the stage. So here are my pictures

Here are more RIS Literary Contest Pictures , Those picture are not edited and was directly uploaded in flickr from my camera. It is taken under a roof in a basketball court. It is great to have Flickr Pro Account ( I got 1208 photos to date ) since you can easily upload all pictures that you take and at the same time it can be protected by copyrights law.

Sigma 70-300mm is great for outside shooting if your far from the subject. Although sometimes there are bit delay in the focus but anyway in total it is great. I will make my full review of that lens later. By The way for those of you who don’t know yet I am using Canon EOS 400D

Google Webmasters Tool Stop Checking My Sitemaps

I am just wondering why Google stops checking my Sitemaps, I mean all sitemaps that was enrolled in Google Webmaster Tools under my Account. The last Google Check in my sitemap was October 21 and the sudden Google Bomb was felt during October 23. Upon checking the Google Webmaster’s Tools, I have seen that Google stops downloading all my Sitemaps , Yup you heard it right all my sitemaps including my other site which is being monitored under my account. Now my question is ? Does including all my site under one Google Webmaster’s Account endangers my other site if one of those site is penalized ? If this is the case I should make a dummy account in all my site, but what about if you have 100 sites. It will be a head ache.

I try Googling this kind of problem but I was not that successful regarding this problem so I am writing about this to know some of your thoughts regarding this matter.

By the way I have send letter to Google today after removing all paid links in this site. Yup I will not do any Paid post links in this site from now on. And If there will be some Advertiser in the future that would like to Advertise on this site a no-follow link will be added. I hope this is clear. I want to retain the site traffic.

Tech At Hand Dot Net Is Slowing Down

Well Starting today, You might see a decrease in posting frequency in this blog, This is due to a reason that I am so busy in work and that sometimes I don’t have time to blog. One of my Co-Employee resigns from his post that is why I am now forced to do dual work.

As much as I want to maintain this blog as your primary source of Tech Information I am sad to say that I can’t do it, It is unless there are some Co Blogger out there that you want to post some of your works here. Well It is welcome. But I might say that it is still my decision If I will post those work or not. I hope you understand. You can send me a note thru my Contact Page.

I know that this will change my Income thru this blog but I believe I cannot afford to loose my day job. And the trust that has been given to me by the company. Anyway I have some blogs that are having passive income. So for sure I will still have some income to spend for my additional gadgets in the future. Nope I am not stopping I am just slowing down

And rest assure that if there is some post worthy of posting I will find some time to do it. You can also send me some tips here if you want some links from this blog.

I got my New Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 APO DG Macro Interchangeable Lens I have an Addition to my Lens and this is the Sigma 70-300mm F/4-5.6 APO DG Macro Interchangeable Lens, I purchase this one since I am having problem of getting pictures outside due to distance , I already own Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II , and the Standard EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Kit Lens that goes with my Canon EOS400d

Blog’s Not Dead, It’s Alive I have been blogging for a year and this morning I just read an article saying the Blogs are so 2004 the post was written by Paul Boutin a correspondent for the Silicon Valley gossip site Valleywag. The post is some sort urging other to kill their blogs due to a reason that there are other forms of blogging which are microblogging, such as twitter , Plurk and other He cited Jason Calacanis A famous blogger of his time who stops Blogging , and Scobble whose presence is now being seen seen in Twitter.

Well the question here, Is Blogging really dead ? I believe No, Have you tried asking your friend, “ What is a Blog ? “ and the usual answer you will get is . “ What is that ? “ , So How come it will be dead where in fact there are a minority knows about it.

Blog is now becoming a source of great information in a very wide subject, It can be Personal, Technology, News, A Library, And anything you can think of.

Blogs is not Dead and They are alive. As long as there are commenter and there are RSS readers who are subscribed to any of the blogs, The Blog will continue to grow. and I believed chron.com is with me regarding my opinion.

And What is great, Blogger’s today are becoming aware of their responsibility with their readers. Although I must admit that there are lots of Blog spammers out there.

So What is you thought about this ? Is blog dead ?
