My Fujairah UAE Visit

It was a nice 2 days visit in UAE, particularly in Fujairah UAE. Sorry for the late post because I need to do some important things that pertains to my visit.

Here are some photos taken in Dubai and in Fujairah UAE. I will also post some tips on how you could reach Fujairah UAE.

Below picture is taken inside Dubai Airport. It is a nice airport where you could buy almost anything you want. as for my ” Pasalubong “ i bought Swatch watch for my Kids and Wife.

So when traveling Fujairah UAE, you need to ride this bus as shown below. Just asked on how you could reach Rashidiya Metro Station ( The Last Station in Dubai Metro ) , where the bus is stationed and go every 30 minutes. We had a 2 hour travel from Dubai to Fujairah.

I can say that Fujairah UAE is a nice City with High Rise bldg. It is a small city compared to Dubai or Riyadh. You can see tall bldg as shown in the picture below.

If you have not yet tried to ride Dubai Metro you should know that this card needs to be detected by the machine in the terminal. I actually look for holes where I can put this ticket , and thanks to the lady guard, She showed us the proper way of using it. Tip.. Observe how others do and then try

We stayed a City Plaza Hotel for a night. Below shown is there contact details if in case you want to try the hotel, I made an online booking and it cost me $135 for a night. The receptionist told me that they can give it in lower rate but the only problem is the room availability on time of arrival. The only comment that I have is if you want to have an internet connection you have to pay 50 DHs, and I believed it’s too much for a 6 hours connection. I would suggest to have a Free Wifi Connection in the Lobby where everybody who have laptop could connect. Or as an option i need to know how I could work my Mobile phone internet thru DU.

It is really a tiring trip. We don’t get a chance to visit UAE Mall, which they claimed as one of the biggest mall in the World. Anyway soon I will be back to Dubai to have meetings and hope to visit other place in Dubai.I even made a Useful information about Dubai about 2 years ago and The only changes is the VISA fee which is now 185 Dhs and we are now forced to have eye scan. been to Fujairah only three times as it was only an hour’s drive from Sharjah. Nice and peaceful there.

So you’re doing the power plants that will help solve power problems in some of the Emirates?

well actually , we will try to tender the same here in Saudi Arabia. Fujairah Plant will be like a mock up.

The power situation there the past five months was appalling. Imagine having an entire freezone without power for days at a time until Ramadan was over.
