CES 2010| Lenovo announces Skylight smartbook

Lenovo is now becoming a trend setter, Lenovo announces lenovo Skylight smartbook which is smaller than a netbook as they claim. It has built-in 3G and Wi-Fi, Lenovo promises a seamless browsing experience. The problem is if you don’t know how to use Linux, you m igh find it difficult to use. because the OS, however, is not Windows, or even Ubuntu: it’s a Linux-based custom OS with “web gadgets” for accessing functions such as Gmail and Facebook.Pricing is set for $499 (MSRP)

But with it’s size of 10.1 I cannot say that it is smaller than netbook since I own 8.1 :)

So is this the gap that will fill in between smart phone and netbook ? ASUS made it in netbook will, lenovo make it in smartbook ?
