Last March, 2011, I tried selling mobile phone e-load. I made my landing page and make a button from PayPal so that I could accept payment thru PayPal. After making successful SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) with my landing page as well as social media marketing, lots of orders came to my e-mail. Most of my orders came from an Indian e-mail from PayPal. So after receiving their payment thru PayPal, I begun sending the e-load number to the e-mail they used in buying through PayPal. But it is a big mistake not to make sure that my buyers are verified buyers.

I sold a total amount of $ 400 with a capital of $ 300  until I realized that I am running a bad business.

I got different PayPal chargeback, here is an excerpt of what is chargeback :

A chargeback, also known as a reversal, is when a buyer asks their credit card issuer to reverse a transaction after it has been completed. It is available only to users who make a payment funded by their credit or debit card.

There are three main reasons a buyer will do this:

1. The purchased item never arrived.
2. The item was much different from advertised.
3. Their credit card was used without their permission to buy the item fraudulently.

Chargebacks are initiated and handled by the buyer’s credit card issuer – not by PayPal – and will follow that company’s regulations and timeframes. That said, PayPal often plays a role in resolving chargeback disputes.

It is a reversal of an amount paid. The amount will be removed from your present PayPal account balance. It happen because the credit card company notifies PayPal’s merchant bank and debits the funds from PayPal due to fraudulent use of the credit card, which only means that somebody might have use a stolen credit card details and use it to buy an e-load by using a PayPal account.

How do you dispute a chargeback?

If you wish to dispute a chargeback, you will need to provide certain information and evidence depending on the case. Below are the two most common reasons for chargebacks and the information you need to provide in each case:

1. The buyer didn’t receive the item
You must give either:

• A tracking number as provided by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Parcel Force 24
• Proof of a refund – this can be evidence from your PayPal account, the back and front copy of a cheque, or a money order used to reimburse the buyer

2. Unauthorised use of credit card
You should give:

• Tracking number for delivery of the item
• Proof of a refund – this can be evidence from your PayPal account, the back and front copy of a cheque, or a money order used to reimburse the buyer
• Any communication from the buyer, such as emails or positive feedback on eBay
• Any contracts signed or information on the sent item
• Date that the item was sent and the address it was sent to
• For intangible items or subscriptions – any information about the item or service

In these and all other chargeback cases, the more relevant information you can give, the better your chance of winning.

Sad to say that I don’t have such details since my transaction are all electronically done. I cannot prove that I have delivered the item by just merely sending them a copy of the e-mail conversation that I had with the buyers. All my claim to get the amount failed.

The worst thing is that some forum says that a chargeback has a time limit of 1 year. It only means that any seller could receive a chargeback after a year of transaction, which could definitely drain the business. I am still thankful to God that I have known this thing before it can cause me much damage in my business.

So I will make a suggestion on how to safely receive payment for your online transaction if you are selling something on the net through my next post. if some of my readers do have some experience with PayPal Chargeback or credit card chargeback, please share it here so that we can gain more knowledge about this fraud. This might also be a reason other company such as Dreamhost is not accepting PayPal as an first payment. and one of the reasons why the PayPal withdrawal has been deactivated in India.

I also found out that in order to verify your information , the program will ask you to finish a certain online quiz or online survey which will of course lead to tons of money to the account owner.They will earn in every completed survey.

So be very careful in accepting request and application in facebook.

The malicious script will run and will send request to your friend list.

I have also found out that they are using blogspot blogs and .info domains as their landing page.

So if you receive such request better to ignore and inform your friend that it is a SCAM.

When I say synchronized files, it only means that the files will be same and updated wherever it is. I am referring to Dropbox, dropbox is an online back up, computer application which can synchronized different files into different computer. You can set your “ See my Friend List “ to “ Only Me “ by pressing Custom settings.To protect your friends facebook you could also set your friend list visible only to you by pressing the button on the right side and choosing custom. Usually spammers can get your friends by seeing your friend list. this are the options where you can change your visibility in facebook.

5. As an added security measures you can set your “Sharing on Facebook” to Friends Only. so that your pictures and Wall Updates cannot be seen by unauthorized people to view your account.

I know that most of my subscribers are enrolled in Google AdSense, but what if I tell you that there are other networks that could pay more than what Google AdSense pays ? What I am referring is the CPA Networks, CPA Networks pays you whenever your visitors complete a task, perhaps a survey or an e-mail submit etc. But for this particular post I am going to discuss about CPA Lead and Leadbolt , I am fully using CPA lead in some of my websites and I can say that with in 2 weeks of an active user of CPA Lead , I made a 3 digit amount from them. 1. This is a good AdSense Alternative but you will get better earnings if you are a type of active publisher and earns in an active mode, It can also be used as a passive income but I think this is mostly could attributed to active income.

5. Philippine Traffic could not be monetize.

I am now using Leadbolt as another source of CPA , The only problem i got is Threshold for Leadbolt is about $500 compared to $50 from CPA Lead, other comparison is Leadbolt is NET 15 and CPA Lead is Net 30 although you could be get paid net 15 if you pass the $1,000 mark. Believed me there are some publishers that is earning $1,000+ per day base on their shout in the CPA Lead Forum.

1. CPA Lead shows how are the publishers you referred to them, Leadbolt will just show the number of referral that you got
2. CPA Lead lets you earn from your referred publisher for life of 5%, leadbolt will give you only 2.5% for 6 mos

If you are not too technical Leadbolt will be better for you since everything in Leadbolt is automated. They will do the optimization for you.

Please be informed that survey type of Ads might be obstructive with your visitors , so you may want to choose the category where you want them to be shown. ( Applicable for WordPress Site ) , there are plug ins from both network for this particular concern.

As an additional information lots of CPA Leads publishers has been banned from using because of Fake Content, Spam and Adult Content so I think this is the best time to take advantage of those high paying survey

Warning : I have conversation with other publishers and as a piece of advise do not combine CPA Network Ads with your Google Adsense site, there are lots of reports that you could get banned from Google Adsense when it goes together. This is not official but a pure observation from other publisher.

Testing if it Works

You can record your Google adSense earning and stats today as you baseline or you can install click aider to know what part works best. But of course driving Google Adsense BOT only to your content will help to get a related ads for that particular post. You also have to take note the CTR of your new codes after a week. Having about 4% to 5% CTR is a good sign already but if you could make it higher it will be better.

In all your experiments you should always have a baseline so you know if your being successful or failure.
