It is design to make sharing of files a lot easier and updated in different machine. I use dropbox in having my files synchronize in different computers. This system helps me a lot in making sure that every file that I have in each computer is updated.. The primary aim of this service is to provide integration of applications and collaboration services, making it much easier for workers to share files and communicate. It is reported that the service is now available in 40 countries worldwide but not in middle east. , with prices starting from $2 per user per month, up to $27 for the full suite of services and support It is a wise decision of Microsoft to make office in cloud. Microsoft is targeting the service at all levels of businesses, and says it can be set up in minutes.

“Great collaboration is critical to business growth, and because it’s so important, we believe the best collaboration technology should be available to everyone,” According to Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer . “With a few clicks, Office 365 levels the playing field, giving small and midsize businesses powerful collaboration tools that have given big businesses an edge for years.”

But of course this will also be very useful to those who have a fast internet connection.

Just follow the following steps.

Step 1 : Press ( Insert >>> Object )

By pressing the Insert >> Object as shown above, The computer will lead you to a windows asking to ” Create new ” or ” Create from File “. Since my aim is to insert PDF File in Microsoft Word I have to choose ” Create from File “

Step 2 : Browse the PDF Files that you need to insert into Microsoft Word

It could be a PDF file, Microsoft Word Files or any other type of computer documents

Step 3 : Press Browse

You have to locate the location of the document with in your computer. If you want to update your document whenever you change the sub documents. You have to press the ” Link to File “ box. And if you like to display the File Icon just press the ” Display Icon Box “

Step 4 : Test your link

Upon completing Step 3 and locating your file. An icon in your Microsoft Word Document should show the below icon. Save your file and go to other computer and then try to open the document . Upon Double Clicking the Document the icon it should open.

There it is, A simple but yet hard for me to figure out. Since Google Search result did not gave me this tip.

I just hope this could help to others looking for the same solution.

Problem :

Everytime I have to update a certan part of the document, I also need to update the number in my table of contents manually. I need to make it Automatic .

Solution :

By using the Index Table function in Microsoft Word

How :

1. Go to Insert >> Reference >> Index and Tables
2. Make the content of your document
3. After completion identify the level 1, Level 2, etc ( You can see at the left Corner side of your screen the headings will be the main topic
4. Press Update TOC
5. Choose Update the whole documents and not just the page, In this case it will update the page numbers in the Index and Tables.

How will I use this Table?

The first column shows the Ctrl Key, it means you have to Press Ctrl+( letter/numbers ) and the right Column will show the results when you press those control keys. The second column is for Microsoft Excel and the Third column is for Microsoft Word.
