The Pinoy Expats/OFW Blog Awards (PEBA), Inc. have finally decided  the winners of the “ANY BLOGGER ANYWHERE WINNERS” and we are proud to say that we have been recognized as the Best Gadgets And Tech Blog 2011. A Big thanks you to the organizer of the event. Since I am not in Philippines, I have sent my in-laws as my representative. I have been told by my in-laws that it was a success. They even won a  Php 1,000 Gift certificate and an iron in the raffle.

Thanks to my in-laws for representing me during the awards night of PEBA.  The said award is not due to the numbers of likes or votes but it is a decision made by the judges of PEBA. Pinoy Expats/OFW Blog Awards (PEBA), Inc, accepted our nomination at Gadgets and Tech Blog Category, and made as an official nominee. I have copied some paragraph at their about page so check it out below :

The Pinoy Expats/OFW Blog Awards (PEBA), Inc. is a non-profit, non-stock organization of international Filipino Bloggers located from different parts of the world & duly registered in Securities & Exchange Commission and Bureau of Internal Revenue.  It has grown to have liaison offices in the Middle East, South East Asia-Pacific, North America, Europe and North Africa.

And since I am blogging about Philippines , Tech and Gadgets while working in Saudi Arabia, We decided to take part  to this Blog Awards, I don’t know what will be the result of this contest. But One thing for sure, this will be another blog exposure for Tech At Hand Dot Net. The Banner ads will be shown in my sidebar until the end of the awards on December 2011. I believe this is also one way to show the world that this is a blog run by an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker).

I have seen some blogs that is actively participating on this award giving body last year.

Here is the criteria for Judging :

• Form (30%) (Element, Blog Layout, Theme, Design)
• Substance (50%)  (Total Impact and Over All Blog Content)
• Originality (20%) (Uniqueness among other nominees in a nominated category)

Finalist will be announced on November 20,2011.
