Start on those commercial or tv ads which you just see, It means start on the new tv ads. Since new tv commercial tends to creates curiosity among viewers.  So you just have to add review related keywords or comment related keyword from those items. And  then look for some comments or review in the internet by other actual user and link to them. You may put your own review  if you tried to use the products. Then try to add keywords which are related to  ” price “ , ” Cost “, ” how much “, etc. People tend to know how much budget will they spare with those new products on the TV.

So How to Make Money Online

So you might wonder how a particular post could earn, You can do many ways to earn from it, and one of the main thing to do is to learn SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) , and when your post is optimized and being seen in google’s first page you can use  CPC ( Cost per click ) , CPM Ads or affiliate  Marketing Ads. Google Adsense is the famous method of earning from CPC.

SEO means Search Engine Optimization, it means doing all it takes to reach 1st page of every search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing. Search Engine Optimization is aiming your site page or blog post to be seen in top of Google First Page for a certain Keywords.

Keywords is a word that an ordinary people is typing in the Google or Yahoo search bar, while looking for an information in the internet. As an example if you look for “ Dexter Panganiban “ in Google it will show you my Personal Blog in the list as shown below.

How could SEO Help Me to Earn More Money Online ?

If your site is properly optimized and lots of people is reaching your site thru the search engine. There are big possibilities that those people will click some of the advertisers in your page or site.

Some advertisers pays by the number of times that your site is being loaded. They will calculate the total view and pay you per thousand views of their ads in your blog. It is no different from advertising in television, network giants earn from showing different shampoo, noodles etc. in television while blog show different site with affiliate links.

What is Anchor Text ?

When somebody links at your site or even you link at other site, the words that you are using to link means Anchor Text. As an example in this blog I use “ Tech At Hand Dot Net “ as my anchor text when I do link exchange. The link is redirecting to my homepage via the word “ Tech At Hand Dot Net “ which is called anchor text . So using “ here” , “Homepage “ is not a healthy practice in SEO. Because the anchor text serve as your site name in Google or Yahoo point of view.

What is Linking ?

The moment that you link any site from your website to other site, it is already called Linking. ( See more about linking }

What is Link Building ?

This is increasing your incoming links from other site to your website, this might be from Social Media Site , from your friends blog.

There is One way link which is the best link, and there are two way exhange links. I think One way is the best link that you could receive. You can check my post about link building in my personal blog. { What is a Link Builder }

No Follow Link ?

This will only means that you don’t want to have a link value to the site you are linking. Google stops following the link if it is no-follow. So in SEO if somebody links your site and it is with no-follow tag, it also means that it has no value in your link building effort. First of all I would like to explain the definition of Domain Name. Domain name is your address in the online community, it s your address in the World Wide Web. It is also commonly called URL { Uniform Resource Locator, previously Universal Resource Locator }, so when ever you see http://techathand.net or any words after http:// that is what we called URL. It is the address that you need to give to your friends if you want to promote your website. So enough now for basic information about Domain Name.

Where Can I get a Domain Name ?

Domain name could be free or paid and they are available thru different site. I got my URL from a Philippine Webhosting Company but all other domain name  that i am using in some of my niche site came from Godaddy. You just have to pay for about $9.+ / Year to get your address in the World Wide Web. You can also get a Domain name for free like having it from http://blogspot.com or http://Multiply.com or http://i.ph , that is if you don’t want to invest for your domain name. But a friendly advice. invest a small amount for a year if you are determined to get something out of your blog or site.

As an additional tip, try to find Coupon Code before paying.

Tips in getting your Best and Proper Domain Name

So here are my suggestion in getting your Domain name :

1. Be sure to have your keywords ready when getting your desired domain name.
2. Avoid hyphen in having a domain name.
3. The best domain name might come from .com, .net, .org { You cannot get .edu or .gov – since this is only given to government sites Just for information}
4. The Domain name should be easily remembered, when I choose Tech at Hand Dot Net, what I have in my mind is having technology in our hand. That is why techathand.net has been made. .com is not available on that time so I have to go to the other best option which is .net or .org. Having .com.ph would also be great but my target audience is international.and .com.ph is still costly.
5. Use suffix or prefix if your chosen domain name is not available. ( ie.. if cutedog.com is not available and you really want to have a keywords of cute and dog in your URL you may go to thecutedog.com , or acutedog.com , famouscutedog.com , cutedogforyou.com and so on. So there are lots of possible ways to have your great Domain name.
6. Don’t just get any domain name. Think about it and make it keyword rich and easy to remember.
7. A two word combination of a Domain Name is the best if you can’t get one word domain name.
8. Use your thesaurus or dictionary is searching for a domain name or keywords.
9. Research for the highest keywords searches and use it as your domain name.
10. Avoid associating your Domain name with dates.. so that you can again use that domain name the next season. So if you would like to get domain name related to election avoid having 2010 in your domain name so that you could still use it in barangay election, Senatorial election or any other election. or even election after 3 years.

I would like to share you what I have observed yesterday while playing my flickr account.

While checking my Flickr account , I found out that there are visitors that is coming from search engine like google, yahoo and bing. I think most of them are students looking for information about their assignments in school. After evaluating and assessing the data that i gather from the Daily aggregate views on my account.  Check out the tips below.

I would like to share you this tips :

1. Don’t forget to put Title of your pictures being uploaded in flickr. I have about 2000+ pictures in flickr and I think half of it has titles of only numbers , It means that when I uploaded the pictures I made it directly from the camera, without even saying something about the picture. It is a big mistake since most of the search pictures are those pictures with proper name.
2. Don’t forget to put tags, I told you I am lazy with providing information about the picture , tags will really help the searcher in searching about any pictures.
3. Don’t forget to put description in pictures, you can always leave your URL and blog address in the description. Where you want your new found visitors to be redirected. Just leave your blog or site URL wherever possible.
4. Put water mark with your pictures. I just recognize the importance of having a water mark recently.
5. Group the pictures properly to enable your reader or viewers to search properly.

So how could those tips mentioned above could increase your earning potential ? Here are the steps

1. Find the readers
2. They visit your site
3. Give what they want
4. They will sometime click your Google Adsense or become your regular visitors.
5. Then the money will come.

The main idea is to use the power of flickr in Search Engine or flickr search in order to have new converting or regular visitors. I am now making corrections based on the tips I mentioned above. better late than never.

As an additional information I got 400+ page views in one day last week. If only i put my site url on those pictures. I might have new visitors by now.

BTW is am paying $24.95 a year in flickr. But it’s nothing compared to earning potential it can give

Verifying your blog via Google Webmasters tool is an essential part of your SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) effort, I have explained it before thru this post { How Important is Google Webmaster Tools } , Better check the post in order for you to understand the importance of being verified with Google.

So for all of you who already knew about verification but have not yet verified your blogspot blog, better check the instruction below and do it now.

How to verify a blogger blog in Webmasters tool.Step-By-Step Instructions:

In Webmaster Tools
1. Click the “Add a site” button on the Webmaster Tools Home page
2. Enter your blog’s URL (for example, googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com) and click the “Continue” button to go to the Manage verification page
3. Select the “Meta tag” verification method and copy the meta tag provided

In Blogger
4. Go to your blog and sign in
5. From the Blogger dashboard click the “Layout” link for the blog you’re verifying
6. Click the “Edit HTML” link under the “Layout” tab which will allow you to edit the HTML for your blog’s template
7. Paste the meta tag (copied in step 3) immediately after the <head> element within the template HTML and click the “SAVE TEMPLATE” button

In Webmaster Tools
8. On the Manage Verification page, confirm that “Meta tag” is selected as the verification method and click the “Verify” button

Your blog should now be verified. You’re ready to start using Webmaster Tools!

Google Algorithm is really top secret but at least we have guides as shown below from the experts in this field.

Trust Authority of the Host Domain got the highest percentage among others. But I think they forget to mention about the research part of SEO. It is hard to do SEO if you don’t research on what you are doing. So you better allow some percentage for the research . How much I don’t know.

But in General I think I agree with the content of the Google Algorithm picture above. And I saw that some of that factors is not part of my strategy , so better apply it and have a better Search Engine Ranking ( SERP ).

The video by Matt Cutts [ Google Engineer ] explains that in the long run it will be better to have an authority link by having a incoming links from post. So I think it would be better to have a link post exchange links rather than side bar blog roll links.

In my opinion this is better for the long run SEO tactics, But for the Current Events SEO tactics , I think Footer and blog roll links is better. But of course Matt is the Google Engineer and not me
