At about 7 days from now ( July 31, 2009 ) iPhone 3Gs will be launch in Philippines by Globe Telecoms. SO if you are planning to buy or replace your old mobile phone by iPhone 3gs. Hi Dex, don’t think there’s an 8GB iPhone 3GS. Based on what Globe’s PR sent to me, there’s only the 16GB and the 32GB. I posted the updated 3GS prepaid prices here.

Hi!! Would people really wasted money on these Globe Kits that would be out on the Market. They really mess the prices. LOOK in US 16GB iphone 3gs are sold around $199 = converted to PHP, that would be Php. 9552.00. The 32GB iPhone is $299 it should be around Php. 15000. Globe had their hands on this kits and their selling this twice the real price! If you are really techy you should know how much this is sold in the US. Apple mentioned that iPhone 3Gs will be their cheapest release. Even here in the Philippines iPhone should be affordable. MONOPOLY SUCKS!!

well, you can’t buy the phone alone for 199USD. that’s locked to AT&T for two years. if you’re going to buy the phone alone, its around 20-30k. still cheaper. but of course, you can’t get it serviced here in the philippines. also, with globe plans, you can get the phone cheaper with postpaid. you still have to consume load while using the phone right? so for the so-called ‘techy’, i dont think you know what ur saying

@giraf, I HAVE A 32GB 3GS BOUGHT IT HERE IN US ITS FASTER THAN ANY MOBILE PHONE WHEN IT COMES TO SURFING AND OPENING AN EMAIL. I ALREADY UNLOCKED AND JAILBROKE IT. COST ME 299 + 57 USD TAX. IM PAYING AROUND 139.00 / MO. ILL be goin to PI on the 25th of this mo. try ko with globe if will work. PS. AT&T DOES NOT SUPPORT MMS AND TETHERING.
CONS: NOT LOUD SPEAKER, ONLY ONE EXT. SPEAKER. IF U HAVE QUESTION HIT ME BACK.

some says the 1st generation iphone or what they call the iphone 2g is the best iphone ever.. but what i have right now is an apple 3g.. for me its better than 2g.
i want the 3gs iphone but it cost way much than i expected.. it only has +1mp camera,video cam and some compass and voice something application..
