Where are the examinees from DLSU, UP, ADMU, and MAPUA in the top 10 list? The tuition in these schools is so expensive (except UP). Top 10 should come from these schools. What is happening to UP, DLSU, and MAPUA?

the problem is not in the students from these schools, it is in the system of the PRC especially the examiners… the exam would definitely not gauge the expertise of the students in the field of communications and electronics… the exam is just like a trivia game or a quiz show… being a topnotcher does not translate to a great and expert ece professional… hahaha!

BRO, LET US ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THESE GUYS FROM NOT WELL KNOWN UNIVERSITIES, COULD MAKE IT!!!!!….MAGAGALING CLA!! AT PWEDE MO CLA ISABAY SA MGA SINASABI MONG TOPNOTCH SCHOOL.
I HAD MY COLLEAGUE BEFORE (FROM THESE SO CALLED TOPNOTCH SCHOOL) BUT CANNOT EVEN EXCEL IN THE WORK WE BELONGED. AND WORST THING HE PLANKED THREE TIMES IN HIS BOARD EXAM!

that is the reality… this does not apply only to ece board exam but with all the professional board exams… nothing to doubt why philippines is very far behind in technology compare to other countries… the engineers that the PRC produce are somehow not totally equipped and expert in their fields… and besides, licences are not well considered by foreign companies…

I understand that board exam is not the sole gauge to become successful, but still it is the first step to know how good a graduate in his field is. If I where the company to hire a graduate with board exam I’ll consider licensure as one big factor. Of course there are still many requirements that he has to pass. What I mean in those schools with high tuition fees to give their graduates the best education and be competitive in all aspects. Because if those schools that are identified not Class A universities can produce topnotchers why is it there is a need to go to these expensive schools.

anong nangyari sa mapua?? wala naman sila sa top 10.. tsk tsk tsk!!
may nalalaman pa kayong qoute na “engineer ka nga… taga mapua ka ba?” puro yabang lang ang mapua..
buti pa ang TIP kahit hindi SIKAT matalino, Electrical Engineering Board exam top 1 ang TIP-Manila,, nagyon sa Electronics communication Engineering ang TIP-QC naman.. Im proud of them..

Why? those schools in the top ten before not in the list like DLSU, MAPUA, UST, ADMU . Very simple answer, because of nursing board exam scandal, NAG IINGAT NA BAKA MASILIP… before PERA PERA MUNA now INGAT INGAT MUNA… walang mabiling leakage

pare tipians din ako. a lot of review center had a good feedback on TIP students who enrolled in their center especially on the subjects of communication and broadcasting. Kudos to Engr. Arenas(new ece dept head),Engr. Daitol,and Engr.Vendiola(tumanda na sa skul tsaka nagresign marami kc nkaaway n estudyante)

wala ang mapua,dlsu at up kasi mostly every march lang sila kumukuha ng ece board exam especially dlsu and mapua na hindi semestral ang system.. kaya wag na kayong magtaka kung walang dlsu, mapua and even up every october examination kasi makikita niyo lang sila sa top list every march licensure examination results..

Because some exclusive schools try to re-invent the wheel. Sometimes it’s not how broad your knowledge in a particular field but the quality of knowledge you have. For Example you have vast knowledge in Antenna … but have you ever made one and tested it? You have very knowledgable in high-tech devices (theory, capability, specs etc) then makikita mo very poor mag-solder(puro hilaw) ni paghawak ng soldering iron takot na takot.
The Sad thing lang many of these non-exclusive or state universities lack facilities and equipments, probably initiating some tie-up with tech companies will improve their facilities.
