i heard it will be july 20.. but the latest update i got from other forum will be JULY 19..(accor. froM Hon. Leonila Faire) while the oath taking will be held on AUGUST 19/20 at SMX mall of asia.. WELL… i dont know the authenticity of this infos.. Hope we could know the real date……. Goodluck to all future RN’S

yeah! MAT as far as i know it depends upon the highest score plus the lowest score den divided by 2 and it depends upon the BON if the quotient will be the 75% or what. that is the step from test I to test V. kaya nga super tagal ng result kasi they should know all the score from 80,0000 estimated people na nag exam..

GMA approved the request of BON to withold the results of the boards to avoid the reapplication of the 69.8% failed examinees of the June 2008 NLE. The tentative date of release is on august 24, 2008. 2 people tied on the 1st place coming from university.

Last June 1 and 2, 2008 the Board of Nursing again was able to successfully satisfy another NLE event in the National Capital Region ang in various other parts of the country with the administrative supervision of the Professional Regulation Commission.
We are writing to formally inform those on the ground that –
(1) The Oathtaking schedules are being worked out for implementation:
August 19 and 20, SMX Convention Center will be the Oathtaking Ceremonies in Manila. And the following assignments have so far been made:

The BoN awaits those who have not yet submitted their Dates of Oathtaking. For Areas where no BoN has been assigned kindly advise the BoN through the undersigned ASAP if you will be the one to request or the BoN will assign whom to send.
(2) The BoN will prepare a “Generic” Souvenir Program which shall also be applicable for Regional Oathtaking Ceremonies. Kindly send your reservations on or before July 31, 2008. The souvenir program cost shall be Php 125.00 each. Kindly specify as well the Colleges covered by your Area Oathtaking for “complimentary souvenir programs”. We will likewise provide the same to the PRC Regional Offices, CHED Regional Offices and DOLE Regional Offices so kindly specify if for inclusion. Freight cost shall be borne by the oathtaking host organizer.
(3) For purposes of better synchronicity and organization we advise all our oathtaking host-partners to keep communications open through the undersigned Oathtaking Chair for this season through the following:
– Telephone/Fax through our PRC Central Office at P. Paredes St., Sampaloc, Manila (as shown above);
– The BoN website: http://www.bonphilippines.org
We wish to have a good documentation as well of all oathtaking ceremonies conducted nationwide hence the need for our host-partners to submit documentation reports in the form of:
(1) Clean/clear copy of your Oathtaking Program
(2) Pictorials (only the significant parts of the program)
This may be sent via “hard copy” or better yet via electronic copy through e-mail.

Don’t believe false text messages — Board of Nursing exec

MANILA, Philippines — False text messages about the results of the June 2008 licensure exams for nursing have been flying about and the Board of Nursing has issued an advisory saying that there’s no truth to them.
BoN member Marco Sto. Tomas told INQUIRER.net Tuesday that the two kinds of text messages indicated that 69 percent of the 65,000 or so who took the exam in June passed, and that the same percentage failed.
The text messages also alleged that the BoN had asked President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to delay the release of the results so that those who failed won’t be able to make it to the filing of applications for the December 2008 exams.
“Walang katotohanan [No truth to them]. That’s revenue [the application fees], so why would we want to do that?” Sto. Tomas said.
“To the nursing public and stakeholders, do not succumb to these ‘irresponsible text messages,’” he added.
He said the results of the June 2008 board exam “may” come out on the last week of July.
“Please be advised that with God’s grace and based on new schedules from the PRC [Professional Regulation Commission], our NLE [Nursing Licensure Examination] results may be released within the last week of July,” Sto. Tomas said.
He also advised the examinees and their parents, relatives, and friends to believe only official releases from BoN website, or leading news outfits.

Tomas sabe niy wala daw katotohanan ang kumakalat n txt… this july padin yung labas ng resulta nabasa ko din sa website ng BON dun kayo tumingin kz mahirap n tinakakatulong mga txt nayan lalo lang tayo pinakakaba at lalo lang pinahihina loob natin sana lang makapasa tyo ….. hay sobra nadin ang kaba ko sana makaraos na tayo hirap n kz ng buhay s pinas e tapos nakatambay lang tayo ditayo maka diskarte ….

ung talagang standard passing rate is 60%= meaning dapat maka-60/100 k per Nursing Practice!!
there are some situations n depende kung madami ang bumagasak, kinukuha nila ung score ng pinakamataas per NP then they also get the score ng nkakuha ng pinakamababa then they will get the Median!!
example: kapag ang nakuha ng pinakamataas s isang NP test is example: NP I- ang nakakuha ng mataas e 70/100 tapos ung lowest is 40/100
70+40=110 ung median is 55, meaning ang passing rate is 55 equivalent is 75 meaning pasado k kpg nk 55/100 k s NP test n un..(depende ito s sitwasyon kung talagang mahirap ung exam at madami bumagsak kapag 60 ung gnwang passing rate..ung standard passing rate n 60/100 eh hndi nila gagamitin) pero ung sitwasyon n over supply ng nurse s bansa at ung pgoopen ng mga nursing program ng mga skul dahil s sobrang dami eh they followed the standard passing rate/score n dapat mk-60/100 k per NP test!!that’s the reason bkit madami ang bagsak at konti ang pasado!!

another example ng computation: NP II ung nakuha ng pinakamataas is 85/100 tpos ung mababa is 55/100, hndi n nila kukunin ung median, susundin n lng nila ung standard rate n 60/100!!kc kpg kinuha p nila ung median eh ung ang mgiging passing rate is 70/100 kpg ginawa nila un madaming babagsak!!kaya nkdepende din s sitwasyon or sa exam kung mahirap o hndi!!

yeah, kinabahan din ako. wala naman pala.. hay my friend again texted me that the result will be posted on July 24, 2008, I dont know if this is again is true But she told me that this info came from our school.. well, i am hoping for a positive result. we’ve done our part to strive for the best and i think God will do the rest. He will give us what we deserve.

havoc– hello.. uhmm actually nag babakasyon lang ako habang naghihintay ng results. dito kasi mahirap kumuha ng work if wala ka pang 2yrs experience at pg di ka pa Permanent Residence mas prefer nila iyon..
ako naman naghahanap din ako though walang problema sa pagiging PR kasi permanent residence ako na bobokya naman ako kasi wala pa ako 2 yrs experience at la pa ko professional license.
If gusto talaga ng Gf mo mag work dito maganda kasi madami benifits na nakukuhang mga nurses dito…

TO: jase / jehzlau, and to those nursing students
for you to believe most of lyceum students in manila in nursing have 98-100% of passers.. pano yung mismong nirereview nila yun na mismo mga lumalabas.. lyceum students nanggaling yan kaya ko nalaman yung leakage mismo, sorry nlang sya, nagkamali sya ng sinabihan. because its unfair.
try to review the pass boards results of school performances of lyceum since DECEMBER 2006 (simula ng mapalitan yung mga dating BON) and you will see the big difference.

Lord thank you for all the blessings that i continuously receiving in my day to day life…I know that being a part of the nationwide nle is a great opportunity for me. I did my part to have taken the examinations, I reviewed and stayed stressed-free before the exams, I am 100% sure that i did selected the best answer. I believe I will pass the examinations 1-5 this time. Let me not lose hope or faith. it is most needed. there is always a better tomorrow. I love my passion and my passion is Nursing. Amen

hindi ako kinakabahan sa sagot ko, kasi hindi ako nahirapan sa exams. kaya ako kinakabahan, kasi nga baka mapalitan ang grades ko.
at para lalo maghigpit ang mga taga PRC.
kung mga passboard nga eh NAILALABAS sa PRC, yung babayaran pakaya ng 50,000 para ipabago ang grades, posible tlga.
mas okay na mag karon ng overall retake basta fair lang ang labanan, siguro nag leakage din kayo, kaya takot kayo.
kung matalino ka at maganda ang foundation mo sa school niu, wala ka dapat ikatakot.
ang ikatakot mo yung mga papasa na walang alam, kasi kawawa ang magiging patient nila.
papasa ako dahil alam ng diyos na nag aral talaga ako, at hindi ako kinabahan after ko mag exam.
jan lang sa exchange of grades ako kinakabahan. at sa mga nag li LEAKAGE na REVIEW CENTERS. (MERGE, EASTWEST,ETC…)
KARMA KARMA NALANG.. yah i have an evidence, and i emailed it already to NBI, DOLE(brion), and ABS-CBN.. and also to BON na email ko narin.

MANILA — All is quiet around the premises of the Professional Regulation Commission as officials are quarantined at the third floor of the PRC building.
Bulletin boards are clear of postings except for the old list of locations where applicants can take their nursing licensure board exams.
Guards are posted in entrances and deny entry to anyone. When asked if media can enter, the guards said not even they are allowed to go upstairs.
“It’s strictly quarantined,” one guard said in Filipino.
But in the coming hours tens of thousands anxious would-be nurses will flood the PRC building and even the commission’s official website to await for the results of the exam.
Thousands of them will find work abroad while some will work for local medical institutions.
Statistics until 2007 from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration showed that between 8,000 and 13,000 nurses work abroad each year since 2000.
