PRC Board Exam Results

Manila, Philippines -The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,973 out of 8,216 (48.36%) passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination  given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this October 2010.

The results were released in one (1) day after the last day of examination.

The members of the Board of Accountancy are Eugene T. Mateo, Chairman; Ma. Elenita B. Cabrera, Vice Chairman; Luis A. Cañete, Rufo R. Mendoza and Jose S. Tayag, Jr. , Members.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Friday, October 22, 2010 but not later than November 16, 2010. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 pieces 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.

Registration for Membership with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants will start on Friday, October 22, 2010.
