Upgraded to WordPress 2.8.3 | Security Release

Just want to let you know that I have upgraded my blog to WordPress 2.8.3 without any problem until now. I did this immediately since this is a security fix specially to those who install Wordpress 2.8.1. | Security Release

Unfortunately, I missed some places when fixing the privilege escalation issues for 2.8.1. Luckily, the entire WordPress community has our backs. Several folks in the community dug deeper and discovered areas that were overlooked. With their help, the remaining issues are fixed in 2.8.3. Since this is a security release, upgrading is highly recommended. Download 2.8.3, or upgrade automatically from your admin. [ Source ]

The release of Wordpress 2.8.3 was unexpected but looking at the no of bugs and error wordpress 2.8.1 and 2.8.2 had, It was much expected update. Though I updated Wordpress to 2.8.3 and I can still see few Errors in my dashboard

the first time that I’d update, I had encountered an error… then I update again(automatically via dashboard) but this time I make sure that all the plug-ins are deactivated… successful!

You have to update to 2.8.4 it is also a security risk
