Alexa’s Top 50 Philippine Blogs (May 2008) According to PMT

James of PMT has updated his list of Alexa’s Top 50 Philippine Blogs (May 2008), and I would like to inform you that I am at # 41 which is a drop from my previous rank which is 38 
. Anyway this might be because my Alexa rank drop also from 123,840 to 138,538 well actually I am not yet studying the algorithm of this ranking system. Maybe it is an assignment for me.
I would like to thank James [ Pinoy Money Talk ] for updating the Alexa’s Top 50 Philippine Blogs (May 2008) BTW it is a good link bait.

Hi Dex, thanks for the link! For now, we don’t know how exactly calculates the rankings so it’s really difficult to say how we can increase our sites’ ranks. Once thing’s for sure, though, the more visitors our sites have, the better the chances of a higher Alexa rank. So let’s just work on getting more visitors to our sites!

hrrrmm.. from #38 to #41 still it’s not that bad…
but it does seem to be disappointing when you go down instead of up.. but anyways.. it’s our learning curve.. we learn as we go down.

Congratulations! Ever since I started blogging 4 months ago, I tried getting information on how Alexa algorithm works, but since they changed it lately, it still remains a mystery. But no mystery is still, Alexa being used as a yardstick for a site’s popularity.
