Filipino Problogger Interview in GMA-7

Filipinos are becoming aware that Blogging is not only a hobby but it may be a source of income.

According to the recent interview as shown above from Angelo Racoma and Abe Olandares, They reveal that a blogger may earn up to US $ 6,000.00 a month . But of course It can’t be done in an overnight task. I myself got already 2 cheques from adsense since my blogging start last December and another one is on the way perhaps by next two weeks. And by the way blogging for me is only part time.

And sometime above mentioned figures is due to different blogs that a blogger is holding. You may not be an HTML expert to be able to earn from blogging but studying it is a must if you want to take control of your blog layout that will be suitable on your personality that you want to portray to your readers. ( By the way I am not an expert with this things ). If there will be new blogger wanna be, that would like to learn and start earning I suggest reading Pinoy blogero site and of course the two sites mentioned above might be an start.

This site may give you only some ideas regarding earning from blogging but I am focused on Blogging and Technology related Things.

It is great that the media already features blogging as a source of extra income for many Filipinos. At least many people will no longer be shocked why you need to open a dollar account because you receive dollar cheques from google and paid review sites.

There would be the disadvantages though, the BIR might be hunting people who earn via the internet. With the strengthening peso and unaccounted pork barrel funds among our legislators, who wants to pay their online income taxes?

I think this might be a problem in the near future because they may just make a law that anything coming from our known advertisers like adsense and other should have a tax.
